Rachel Wood is an amazing speech therapist. She is kind and gentle and my son took to her immediately.She was very thorough and explained everything very well. She made excellent use of the time during appointments, while still keeping him focused with stimulating activities. She never requested unnecessary appointments or dragged out the therapy. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone with a need for speech therapy.

My son has started speech therapy with cheeky monkey, I found our experience great they were very responsive, detailed and punctual and adaptable to my sons schedule My son instantly warmed up to Rachel, we were given a plan to easily work with really looking forward to working with her to achieving the best results for my son. Highly recommend 10/10

Cheeky Monkeys Speech Pathology
Rachel is so FUN and has achieved incredible results with my daughter. We have had a rapid improvement with speech articulation and grammar correction. My daughter hardly realises she is working with Rachel's endless enthusiasm and cupboard full of games and super fun activities. I am so grateful our preschool recommended Rachel to prep my daughter for an excellent start to kindergarten.

Rachel is fantastic with my 6 year old daughter and has established a great rapport. The way the sessions are structured to keep her focused and engaged have delivered improvements to her speech and confidence very quickly. Would highly recommend Rachel to anyone.

Our son has been seeing Rachel for some time and we are extremely happy with the help our child has been receiving. We have worked with a number of speech patholgists on the coast and only find Rachel is the best for my daughter. Rachel is not only professional, thorough and engaging, she is very clear with the practice homework (steps to follow, areas to focus on). My daugher is always looking forward to coming to Rachel's session because it's just so much fun. Rachel is always flexible, encouraging and patient. We feel so fortunate to have Rachel to work with our daughter on her speech and sounds. We highly recommend Rachel and her speech clinic Cheeky Monkeys.

My daughter started at Cheeky Monkeys earlier in 2021 after some soft palate surgery.I found Rachel to be very professional, takes time to understand the background and how she can support, provide direction on exercises to parents and cares/encourages positive outcomes for my daughter.Since attending the improvement of speech is awesome and watching my little ones confidence grow prior to attending Kindergarden has been awesome.Couldn't recommend more highly.
