If you're looking for a no fuss place for a quick bite to eat, may it be for lunch or dinner, that has a good variety of dishes that's satisfying, delicious and well balanced in flavours 5hen Take Kee Roast Inn is the place for you.In the restaurant window as you enter is an array of freshly cooked roast duck, BBQ pork, pork belly and Chinese sausage. You are greeted by the owners and hopefully you can find a table that's available. The restaurant is often full of diners and busy.The atmosphere is a simple affair. Modern dining tables and chairs with simple Chinese crockery and cutlery. It is cosy feel though romantic is not. You are hear to eat and satisfy your hunger. Orders are taken quickly and dishes are prepared and served quickly.There's a specials board on the wall and also printed. The menu caters for all tastes from noodles to rice, meat, seafood and vegetables dishes. There is chilli oil available on request. Noodles can be ordered in both crispy and soupy versions. I could keep describing the dishes though it's better that you visit to find out and enjoy it yourself.Tak Kee Roast Inn is affordable, cheerful and good value. Great tasting home style food. Friendly and quick service.

Hong Kong BBQ and roast meats is part of my staple and I must say this is by far the most extraordinary - it’s the worst tasting one I’ve ever had globally (including countries with non existent Chinese or Cantonese population). Dry noodles are cut up to 3-5 inches long and flavoured by water. The beef brisket were ok but portions were measly. Soy sauce chicken was bland.

Amazing meals. The food was literally ready 5min after we ordered and yet they were really busy. Probably the best Chinese I have ever eaten.

This place has always been a staple for my friends and I when we’re in need of a good heartwarming meal and a cozy place to catch up and hang out.This time we ordered takeaway on a cold night and it was pretty good. Not as good as eating in, food wasn’t the warmest but the wait time was quick considering how much food we ordered.Crispy pork is always a must, as well as char kway teow and shantung chicken. Great consistent quality of food.

Not a fancy looking place but there is lots to choose from the menu. Good food and good prices. There is 2 hours free parking close by which is a bonus.

Edited review:Had the Dry Wonton Noodle dine in today & got some Roast Meat takeaway. Wontons were delicious whereas the dry noodle lack flavour/sauce to tie the whole dish together. Pickled green chilli would’ve been the perfect accompaniment to elevate this dish.Roast meat was quite nice as I asked them to pack the sauce separately, hence it’s not soggy this time around. Service was fast & friendly.Got some Roast Meat Takeaway, quick service & price was reasonable. Would’ve liked it if they offered the sauce in a separate container as it made the Roast Pork Crackling soggy by the time we got home.

The food the was nice and amazing. Service was nice. Environment was okay and restroom was okay. I like the food, if I do go to Canberra I'll definitely go there again. The restaurant is really small but clean.

With roast duck, pork and Gow-Gee as their speciality - there’s something for every lover of authentic AUS-Cantonese-Chinese. Try the Combination Gow Gee with Noodles in soup. Definitely a stand out.

I went to the restaurant with my friends to celebrate one’s birthday party and i think we had a pretry good meal. We ordered 5 dishes and all come quickly and have great portions, in addition to good price. The roasted ducks and pigs really blew out my mind with its crispy skin and flavourful sauce. The jelly fish salad and the special fried rice is also nice too. However, the rock salt soft shell crabs was so salty that I ended up having additional steamed rice to fit with. Besides, the octopus was not so spicy as we expected. Anyway, thank you for delicious food and i’ll come again and try the rest of your menu.
