The Psych Centre

Sue has cancelled every assessment appointment made for my son at the last minute. Everytime I try to speak to her I am never called back. My son isn't coping at school and isn't getting the help he needs without an ASD diagnosis which Sue continually cancels on the morning of. We have waited months and everytime on the day of the appointment a message saying it is cancelled. Last time I went in and told them the situation we are in with my son. The struggles. This is his only way forward and we NEED that appointment not to be cancelled and again... I am so frustrated, angry, disappointed and sad. All this time wasted waiting and another missed opportunity to be on another psychs wait list. I can't even!

Joanne really helped me during several difficult times I’ve had. She makes me feel safe, and heard. She tells it straight and in easy to understand language. I appreciate everything Joanne has done and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Joanne's knowledge, Listening skills and advice have been outstanding and above reproach. Jo does not tell me what I should or shouldn't do, Jo listens and advises with reverence, clarity and many years of knowledge.... Joanne and her Team of Phycologists have always treated me with courtesy and friendliness.. Over the past 18 years I have always felt very Special as a result of the attention and advice of Jo. Jo has saved my life...And shows true Care for my feelings and problems..

I have been struggling to find a psychologist that I could really feel comfortable with for the past 10 years. Finally my GP referred me to Steph at The Psych Centre. Feeling very defeated and nervous i reluctantly headed in to my appointment. I have now been seeing Steph for almost 5 months and the changes I have made and things I have been able to overcome almost seem surreal. Thank you to Steph and the team at The Psych Centre for making such a daunting task comfortable and just easy!
