Poonam was an amazing help to us, we came across The Maharani Diaries early in my wedding planning but wasn't totally sure what we were after. When COVID derailed our plans we were ready to throw in the towel. It was such a tough time for our families. I reached our to Poonam and she helped us get our planning going again. She guided us (virtually held our hands) through the entire process. Email and WhatsApp was the best form of communication for us, so Poonam created chats with our vendors and kept us in the loop with all communications. We had done a lot of the planning regarding our bigger vendors but was left with a lot of the finer details to worry about including outfits, jewelry, cake and so much more! Poonam jumped straight in and she found 3-4 quotes for each vendor for us to consider and gave personal opinions along the way, which we really appreciated. Poonam has a great deal of experience, and this shows through her work and professionalism. On the day, everything just went so smoothly, we literally did not have to worry about anything. Poonam was at the venue at the crack of dawn she had picked up our garlands and worked closely with the venue and decorating team to have the venue ready. Every vendor reached out to say they really enjoyed working with Poonam and her team. We can't thank her enough for helping us have the best day of our lives, and we highly recommend her services!!

We loved Maharani Diaries! Poonam was so helpful with making sure all the little details and styling was on point. She was very professional and made sure she understood exactly what we wanted. We gave her our inspiration pictures, she took them and exceeded our expectations. All the events just looked amazing!She and her team made sure the events ran smoothly. Thanks to her, all the vendors knew what they had to do on the days and she was there making sure everyone was on time doing what they needed to. So my family got to enjoy the events. We didn't have to lift a finger. Highly recommend Maharani Diaries! Can't imagine how we would've done it all without her!

Poonam was an absolute joy to work with and completely took the stress out of planning a wedding. She worked with us every step of the way to ensure that the wedding would fit exactly what he had envisioned and more. She is such a lovely person and made an effort to get to know us on a personal level.Poonam managed to plan the whole wedding in only 3 months! Any time there was an issue with a vendor or a last minute cancellation due to COVID, she had an answer and a backup ready to go. She is a complete professional and I can not recommend her enough.

Poonam was our amazing wedding planner for our cross culture Hindu wedding. We are so happy we had Poonam to help us with planning and pulling off an Indian wedding, which is a huge task. Poonam understands the challenges of planning such an event and knows the important details to look out for. She has a lot of great ideas and recommendations for vendors.Poonam does a lot of work behind the scenes and helped us have a perfect day. Our photographer commented to us that the run sheet he was provided for the day by Poonam was incredible. Poonam coordinated all of the vendors and made sure everything was going to plan on the day which helped us to enjoy the time as we didn’t have to worry about all the logistics. Poonam was at the ceremony venue first thing in the morning, which took the stress out of our morning, as we had a trusted pair of hands there for any questions anyone had. This was so helpful as we pivoted to a rain plan on the morning of the ceremony. We had two venues on the day and Poonam ensured everything ran smoothly at each venue.Poonam is a lovely person and we highly recommend her. We can’t thank her enough for all of her help with our wedding - we had an amazing time!

Poonam is an incredibly skilled wedding planner. I cannot express how little stress both me and my now husband (!) felt in the lead up to the wedding. She was highly professional throughout and managed to pull off the wedding with less than 3 months notice...and all within budget. She was helpful right from the start. She advised us on the best venues for Hindu ceremonies, took care of the bookings, and liaised with all the vendors. If anything went wrong during the planning stages, she came to us with a solution already sorted out.We had the perfect day and it was more special than we ever could have imagined. Everything went smoothly on the day too, thanks to her preparation. And for us to be able to rock up on the day and just enjoy it without worrying about anything was priceless. Our families and guests all enjoyed themselves too, and were truly impressed by what Poonam had managed to achieve. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Poonam was an absolute dream to work with! Planning three weddings in the midst of a pandemic, with both halves of the couple working busy full time jobs is no mean feat, but Poonam pulled it off with both flair and professionalism. Poonam was always happy to lend an ear and offer advice on everything from outfits to decor to logistics. She not only coordinated our five events exceptionally, but styled them beautifully. She truly understood our vision and made it into a reality and we could not be happier with how each event looked. She was absolutely invaluable and an integral part of ensuring our whole week and the lead up went smoothly. She was detail-oriented, ensured nothing was forgotten and flexible when the weather necessitated a last-minute venue change. Throughout all the events her team went above and beyond whenever it was required and ensured any would-be disaster was averted. We are so lucky that we had Poonam by our side during the most memorable week of our lives, we couldn’t have done it without you!

While people say planning a wedding is the most stressful thing, I can't say I had that experience, and it was purely because Poonam was there by my side throughout.Before the wedding, you took on the admin tasks and made sure our vendors were vaccinated and ready to go for setup. Something that was basically unheard of prior to COVID. You supported me with sorting out my outfit with Jade by MK and you supported us in making sure we were across everything we needed. The 1:1s with our vendors were made so much better with you there to pick up on the little things Sam and I may have missed.During the wedding, both Anand, Nathan, and yourself were outstanding! You guys took on the whole 10 yards of wedding planning, alcohol running out, Omicron scares, health emergencies, and then picking up after Sam and me and making sure we were having a great time! Coming out of the wedding the one thing that our guests had to say (aside from it being beautiful) was that it was SO WELL PLANNED & ORGANISED! We absolutely have you to thank for that!Thank you so much, Poonam!

I came across Poonam through my virtual shopping experience and we hit it off straight away. Though I didn't end up going with that certain brand, as a leaving note she mentioned she does wedding planning and in my head I was like 'I've got this'.Boy I was wrong.. Scrambling close to the big day and we had a referral from a friend who spoke highly of their planner, turned out to be Poonam from Maharani Diaries- this world is small.Comfort and ease are the two things that she consistently brought to the process. Most of us are planning a wedding for the first time and there's so many details that go into a day, let alone 4 days and Poonam and her team were all about the finer details.She was prompt, did thorough check ins which was well needed for us planning virtually, constant follow ups and reminders guiding us through every big to small process. Also she has all the insights on what's best for the day which was truly helpful.We had 2 days during our wedding which had amazing Sydney sun BUT we also had 2 days where there was torrential horizontal rain, a bride's worst fear. Poonam was the calming force, she was there with her team first thing in the morning, checking in if I'm doing okay, handling all vendors, figuring out ways of how we can make this work, and she truly made it work.Cannot thank her enough for all the hard work and couldn't recommend her and her teams' service more.

Biggest advice: get a wedding planner! Poonam and her team were absolute lifesavers. Indian weddings are multi-day, expensive affairs and with me (the bride) marrying a non-Indian, we had cross cultural challenges to navigate.With Maharani Diaries, we had a clear timeline from beginning to end about what her services would entail, when each milestone would be completed and what she wanted from us. She took into account our vision and budget and was very patient dealing with difficult family members. Our weddings were coordinated with ease and we knew that we could sit back and everything would fall into place. Our only regret is that we didn’t contact her from the start and tried to plan the wedding ourselves.Above all, she is a fantastic person who continues to be in touch with us after our wedding and will always be a part of our memories of our day.
