Pacific Park

Beautiful park in the middle of the city, stunning trees.

I love the live music they have on Friday evenings. The park is a great spot for an evening of family entertainment. You can get dinner from one of the food trucks parked close by, or you can bring a picnic and lay on the grass. The event is BYO so you can bring your best plastic champagne flutes and sip your bubbles while being serenaded by the two lovely musicians on stage. Very pleasant.

Great urban park. Now covid restrictions have gone it is an ideal place for city dwellers to have picnics . Summer brings outdoor festival activities check for dates online or Weekend papers.

A great place to sit in the shade and enjoy the breeze and the view.

Love Friday nights at this place between December and end of March they play live music and everyone brings a picnic. Food trucks available. Such a lovely time and for a good cause. Gold coin Donations taken to help feed the hungry. So lovely.

A green grass oasis with small trees and shade lovely open space to enjoy a break outdoors in the sunshine plenty fresh air, family friends or solo! A favourite community space for small events, an occasional market stalls and protest rallies. Pacific Park Is now the offical light-rail stop for Newcastle Beach!The former Newcastle Hospital is adjacent to the park, and commemorative plaques honour the past. The are many fine restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Nestled in Newcastle East, Pacific Park is home to much flora and fauna — Kookaburras, Rainbow lorikeets, Blue Herons and the territorial Magpie are some of the birding Photography that is available. Family Picnics are a regular events. Highly recommended
