Best op shop in Brisbane by far! Heaps of bargains and the staff are absoloutely lovely and have a great sense of humour. Wonderful work guys!

Dear Silky Oaks staff, I visit very regularly and only have positive things to say about the shop, the items and the staff. The shop is always neat, organised, labelled and smells clean. The items are of good quality while second hand and the variety is enormous. The staff are always friendly, hrkpfuy and obliging. I have recommended this op shoot to most of my friends. I will continue to return to this store to deliver my items and buy items. The $1 clothing us so generous and you can't go past the $5 a bag specials. I also really feel this op shot goes above and beyond by giving to other charities and causes throughout the year. All staff should be commended on their community spirit. Wishes to all. Sharon

The Carers at Silky Oaks are nothing short of excellent! My first daughter went there for almost 5 years, and my second is about to start shortly. They are the most genuine people who really take a genuine interest in your child. I take my hat off to them! :-)

This op shop is a real gem! Range of goods is fantastic and prices are the cheapest around. All clothing items $1. Can't beat it anywhere. Staff are friendly and extremely nice to all customers.

This place came highly recommended by a close friend, glad to say we took the recommendation and havent looked back!Even though there are about 5 childcare centres closer to us, we love silky oaks too much to leave and so does our daughter.Friendly staff and they are open to sit and discuss child needs both personal and academic. I cannot fault this place!Highly recommend! And will bring our next child through this day care when that day comes!Thanks Silky Oaks staff!

Wonderful staff always kind courteous and respectful even able to have a joke always an enjoyable experience going in I would say it's the best little op shop in Brisbane keep up the amazing work

Very poor experience 11/7. Called in to browse as I have often done and found 2 bowls I wanted to purchase. Rather than carry them around the store I took them to the counter and asked the lady if ok to leave there while I looked at linen. This was ok - I spent 5-10 minutes in the linen room and came back to the counter to complete my purchases. No bowls were on the counter and when I asked the attendant she replied “oh I sold those to someone else”. When I asked why she really had no answer. I have been a long time buyer and donor to this store, unfortunately this experience has damaged my loyalty and I will certainly look further afield in future. So disappointing to be treated shabbily by both staff and another customer.

Always nice to shop here. Some things are a little over priced considering they are second hand but you pick up the odd bargin here and there
