We dined in last night as walk ins and just wanted to compliment all the staff on their hard work. You were understaffed and super busy but you honestly couldn’t even tell. Drinks and food came out in a timely manner and the food was absolutely incredible! Will definitely be coming back.

It was a big group dining, we had a private area which was lovely. Food was absolutely delicious, served with lots of friendly (and efficient) smiles. Fantastic atmosphere right on the water's edge, bright and cheerful. Definitely worth travelling the distance

Went there for brunch this morning, opt to sit outside as it was a beautiful spot to people watch and serenity of the waterfront. Service was quick and breakfast menu was good. Enjoyed our hearty breakfast.

Had a family dinner on a Saturday night. We were hoping for something a littlespecial, but unfortunately didn't happen. Drinks and meals were ordered. Menu had changed since our last visit - more like an up market pub menu now. Meals came out quickly. Food was lovely, good size serve. Steak was hard to cut as the knives given were not proper steaknives. Table was very slow to be cleared, we had to asked for it to be cleared. Bar got really full & loud with drunk guys partying, spoilt the atmosphere.

Ordered a takeaway from these guys. Our food arrived without delay and was lovely. Not a bad price and the staff were friendly. The location is great and the atmosphere was cool, so will eat in next time. Thanks guys

The steak sandwich was very good, possibly one of the best I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, my partners meal was not as good - pumpkin was under cooked for her salad - but they were very understanding and quick to offer alternatives. the overall ambience was good.

Having not been to The Stage Door in possible 8-9 years, I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit. Back then (likely under different management) it was known for long wait times and little menu choices. Now, the menu is bulging with options, food arrived promptly and the staff were enthusiastic, attentive and friendly. My salad had a creamy dressing on it that I wish had of been listed on the menu as I couldn’t eat it due to intolerances, but overall I was impressed and would happily visit again soon.
