Galetto Real Estate

Due to my work I have to move a lot and estate agents can be a very mixed bag, but I have to say that I have never met any that are as friendly, helpful and professional as the staff at Galetto Real Estate. From the moment I enquired about a property I was treated with respect - sadly a rare experience as a renter in Sydney as it’s usually the work experience kid in the cheap suit who gets given the job of managing rentals while the more experienced staff chase commissions in sales.So some highlights: the welcome hamper on moving in that was as generous as it was unexpected; the offer to sign for my removal if I needed to be at work; agreeing to sign for and keep safe an important delivery when I couldn’t be home to receive it; the professionalism they have displayed throughout.Yet most of all, it is the culture of the company which is most impressive. Somehow you feel as if you have been invited into a family. It’s been a pleasure dealing with them and as I pack up to move on again, I realise I’m actually going to miss dealing with them. There are not many property rental agencies you can say that about in Sydney.

During the seven years I've known Kate Galetto I've purchased one property, sold two properties and leased a property through her. The reason I keep choosing to work with Kate is that I find her to be very fair, refreshingly direct, extremely knowledgeable and an outstanding deal-maker. Having been on the buying, selling and tenant sides of the relationship, in my experience she consistently seeks the best possible outcome for all parties to each transaction, irrespective of which side you're on. Her team is also very professional and helpful, reflecting Kate's values. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kate and her team.

Kate and the team are fantastic and I have now rented through them 3 times and never had any issues. Not sure what Pam below is carrying on about, as they are thorough and professional from sign up to exit, proactive when dealing with landlords to get necessary works completed and are pleasant and easy to deal with at all times. I was fortunate enough to find and lease a property managed by Galetto Real Estate last year and have found them an absolute pleasure to deal with since.There was a minor maintenance issue relating to the property that had to be rectified when I first moved in. Both Nicole and Kate went above and beyond and rectified the issue within 24 hours. They even went to the property to let the contractor in, so that I didn't have to take time off from work.It got better! I opted for a new internet provider who needed access to the property and I was going to be interstate. To my amazement, on mentioning this to Kate, she offered to meet the internet provider and let them in, in my absence! Now that is going above and beyond for a new tenant.On losing my keys to the property recently in the early evening, I called the office and to my surprise was told that someone would be waiting for me when I returned home. Sure enough as I approached the property, there was Kate waiting outside with a spare set of keys.I rarely write reviews, but on seeing this other review of Galetto Real Estate, I cannot disagree with it more. Galetto Real Estate in my view is run by an efficient and above all else honest woman, who with her team provide excellent customer service. I could not recommend Kate and her team more.

We recently purchased a house through Galetto Real Estate. We had been looking for over six months and have had some mixed experiences with real estate agents. We found Kate to be very professional, caring and understanding of our family's needs. As this was our first home, she was also very helpful recommending us other people who could help us example: putting air con on etc. Needless to say, we are very happy with Kate / Galetto Real Estate and I would not hesitate to recommend Kate/Galetto Real Estate to do business with as they do stand out -among others in the industry!

Highly recommended Galetto Real Estate as a property manager.The Galetto staff are highly professional and organized. While I was renting property in Mosman, Kate was the rental property manager. I had an excellent experience dealing with Kate all throughout the renting period. All my queries were handled in an efficient manner. Notably, I had a similar experience with other Galetto’s staff who were always friendly. I would be very confident that they would be the best people for the job if I were leasing a property.

Started off as a pleasant experience turned out to be one of the worst experiences ever. I would not rent or have my property managed by this agent again. Do your due diligence before signing anything.

Kate Galetto represents a very rare find in the saturated real estate market of the lower north shore - that is, she actually knows how to manage BOTH aspects of the sale/rental agreement professionally. Kate has managed a couple of processes for me now with absolutely no fuss, and no surprises. Most recently has rented a property for me in Mosman with zero advertising fees - just through her networks, in the middle of this COVID crisis.... remarkable agent!!!!
