When my caravan 12 pin trailer plug was wired up to my Landcruiser the van manufacturer provided an ambiguous instruction sheet. When plugged in everything but the reversing lights worked fine. The van service centre told me last week that the reverse lights were all wired up properly and ready to go so it must be the tow vehicle. I rang Michael at Melville Auto Electrics when I was in the Myaree area getting new tyres fitted and he said swing by and he would take a look. He quickly located the missing but thankfully still available black wire and popped it into its correct number 2 slot and then reassembled everything. It all took less than half an hour. It was so generous of Michael to interrupt his busy day. Now when I head to Adelaide on Monday all the lights on the rear of my van will be safely illuminating just the way they were designed. Exemplary customer service and an efficient starter motor replacement- despite a faulty new part arriving.Michael fitted me in as a priority (I use my car for trade work), despite being completely booked out.The labour charge was also very reasonable.I wholeheartedly recommended him.Conincidentally, I mentioned to the one negative Google review to him, and he told me he couldn't even find the client in his books! Must have been a mistake.

Took my 26 year old 4wd to Michael for an issue I couldn't fix myself. Michael was friendly, got me a short notice booking and fixed multiple issues for a very reasonable price! Ran through the issues he fixed tooHighly recommended to anyone with any electrical gremlins.

I paid almost $400 to fix a supposedly simple electrical issue on my 2016 vehicle and i should have known that i made a wrong decision to come into this place as on the day when i collected the car, the issue wasn't even fixed properly. After 3 weeks the same problem come back again. Very disappointed and feel like i have been scammed of almost $400!. When i called back, the person on the phone told me its going to cost more than a grand to fix the issue. I should have taken my car to another more professional and experienced person that knows what he is doing.

At a different garage they advised i had a leak from my aircon compressor and would need a new one fitted. I took my car to Michael for an opinion and quote for a new compressor, they did all the tests to find a leak, pressure test etc, they couldn't find a leak, so they regassed it and put in a flouro dye to show a leak in 12 months if there is one. What an amazing outcome, i am very grateful to Michael and the team for sorting out my air con, I highly recommend them.
