Top of the Range Tea Rooms
Really disappointing. Opened late to start with then coffee was $7.20 for a “ large” which was a normal medium. Food was displayed terribly with one cabinet empty and the other hardly anything it and this was 10 minutes into opening. Staff non friendly and ambience non existent. Views sensational let down by this place. Could be so good obviously managed poorly. Heard other customers talking negatively also.

I don’t say this often but my experience here was spectacular.We tried the coffee, hot chocolate and a chocolate milkshake and they were all incredibly good. Really recommend all of them.The gift shop also has really reasonably priced items that look really nice.There is also plenty of parking.

The food is really good. They serve really good coffee and tea. Their scones are really amazing. I just wish they served more kinds of food, like maybe sandwiches and/or waffles.The service was fast and amazing. And the staff were really friendly and accommodating despite their busyness.The view from the cafe is great. The ambience is really good.

Unfriendly vibes from the staff, everything is in takeaway containers. They have the deck closed off for some reason. Looks like it’s halfway through a renovation. Absolutely beautiful viewsA little disappointed as it used to be much nicer and much friendlier

Friendly knowledgeable staff in a great location for tea, cake & a walk. Shame we didn't get to see the peacock but great to hear the owners relocated for safety. Shop has some quirky souvenirs from t-shirts to magnets, stickers and stuffed animals.

Good Cafe to stop if you are visiting Mount Macedon. I love their hot chocolate and Milkshakes. If you want more food options, it's best to visit them before their Kitchen closes. That time seems to vary depending on how many visitors come in.

Food came very quickly, and very tasty. Scones were amazing. Very friendly staff. Lovely short walk to the cross. Usually fantatsic views, but the fog was low this day..

Well thought I'd give it a return go. Obviously been taken over in last 12 months. 2 guys seem to be running it a few people there however a large number of tables were uncleared making it very difficult to pick or get a clean one. The BLT arrived freshly cooked not a lot of prep work or real care put into it and at $14.95 a little expensive. The Latte I had was to say the least not made by someone that knew how to make this. It was piping, white hot well over cooked I think is the expression. Well finished the BLT just now. Mmm what can one say. Maybe these guys should go back to doing there plumbing business. If they had a previous hospitality business it went out of business and now they have this out of the way Cafe. It ain't going to last long for these lads.

Good stop when visiting Mt Macedon.Order yourself a nice hot drink and visit the Memorial Cross which is only a couple of walk from this Cafe.

Seems like a good place to grab a quick drink or food on Mt Macedon Range. We had a quick drink here, and the place has some peaceful vibes. There are also local products if you want to show some support, even though they are quite pricey. Overall a great place to visit, just that they have quite little opening time.
