Arrived in Pentland to camp behind the pub.Walked down to the Cafe for lunch best hamburger I had for a long time. Owners were very friendly and the art works were amazing. A must call in on your travels.

Slightly quirky and quite lovely art gallery and cafe at Pentland, which is half way between Charters Towers and Hughenden. Situated in a beautiful garden setting on the Flinders Highway, the artwork for sale is largely that of the owner who is a talented artist, with many local landscapes. The food is also excellent. A recommended stop if travelling on the Flinders Highway. However note that it closes at 3 pm.

What a delightful cafe for morning tea. Fluffy scone and freshly iced carrot cake and a pot of tea in a tea cosy.A large range of local artwork and gifts inside to buy at very reasonable prices. They are closed a couple of days mid week so check their website for this info. Don't drive by, stop in and support this local small business and meet the owners.

Beautiful little spot to stop and rest. Nice selection of quick bites and the coffee was actually really good. Also a gallery with lots to look at and very reasonably priced art both print and original made by the lovely proprietors. Will definitely stop in again.

Lovely place to stop! A pleasant surprise, lovely presentation on the food and drinks, and a nice little gallery and sculpture garden. Loved the home made rocky road and coconut ice too!

What a gem of a place, it's worth the extra kilometres to sit with a cuppa and toasted sandwich. A friendly magpie waits patiently nearby for a handout. Great friendly service, great food and great atmosphere.

Pretty well a necessity on any trip on the Flinders Hwy - ideal for a coffee break, an ice cold drink or a hearty lunch - best burgers for ... well, hundreds of kms of I'm honest. Drop in, if only to admire Louise and Graham's amazing art and sculptures, and you'll definitely stay for a feed!
