Haven't been there for a few years. New owners have made it into a very nice boutique course. Cafe and the lot are very very nice. Staff spot-on.It will be even better when planned changes are done in March.If the course was rated you will not fit players on the course.A great little course with a big future.

Such great work has been done here over the last few years, a credit to the manager and groundkeepers, I play here occasionally with a mate and intendv to make it a more regular occurrence.

A good little course with a lot of potential nice friendly staff great café and bar with great food this course can go ahead in leaps and bounds so if you want a relaxing game I certainly would recommend it.

Nice open, straightforward course. On the other hand, not the most challenging course around. Fairways on the 2nd/3rd can get boggy after good rain. Popular course and always a good back up option when you forget another course has a comp on

The owner is really putting some work in on the fairways and greens. The subsoil seems pretty reactive with large cracks evident. Pretty flat and short mostly but not crowded. Also a segregated hole in one comp with CCTV with a bonus pot to the first person to ace it.

Organised a golf tournament. for 30 retirees which had been held at Rosny public course now closed. Support from staff at Coal River was excellent barbecue facilities and sheltered area were a bonus. The best tournament in the ten years of this event! We will hold it again at Coal River. Great for corporate or club social golf. Course in good nick too.
