I would not recommend, we purchased a couch and some other furniture. The towels are falling apart, the couches fabric was piling uncontrollably. After some threats of small claims court they agreed to return the couch.Attending the store to receive the refund I was told that actually they don't have to give me a refund and they want to give me a store credit instead. Told the staff member Dave, I wanted a refund and he turned aggressive and cold after a big speech saying they were so sorry and wanted to keep my business.I got the refund but the service was shocking. There are lots of stories of piling couches on other review sites and lots of stories of people being bullied into a store credit rather than a refund.Message to the store: If you drop your quality to increase your margins, when the lower quality product fails it's your responsibility.The actual store manager I met with previously, Brady, was excellent though.Editing the review after a 2 years to say pretty much every piece of furniture we purchased is falling apart and requires repairs due to shoddy workmanship, stay far away.

I had a great customer service experience with Kara and Lachlan yesterday and today. They helped me to fix a stressful situation. They were friendly, efficient and professional. Communication was excellent. I now feel like I have had a positive experience with Freedom furniture Balgowlah.

We received the best possible customer service from Allan at the Balgowlah store.He went absolutely above and beyond to help us fix up a mistake we made with our order, and was extremely helpful and over communicated through the process.Amazing customer service, we cannot thank him enough for his time and help

The team were so lovely and helpful, however as part of the purchase they said there would be 2x$100 gift cards included which would come after the couch arrived.The emails and voicemails to get an updated on these gift cards have fallen on deaf ears
