The perfect weekend getaway. We were greeted by Baxter and Bella the friendly border collies who than left us to our own devices. The cottage was warm and inviting on a cold winters day - Bernadette stoked the fireplace before our arrival. The bedrooms were lovely and bathrooms clean and stocked with soaps and towels. Located just a few minutes outside of Broke itself. We highly recommend visiting Margan Winery for a fabulous lunch time degustation after a tour around the winery. If your after a tranquil, peaceful and relaxing stay, this is it.

Gorgeous historic little cottage in a beautiful setting, with a Welcome Committee of two cute collie dogs. I thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay while you explore the Hunter Valley vineyards.

iconic bit of early Oz history - a beaut place to stay when things are quite midweek - the complimentary bottle of wine was the best we tasted in the Hunter Valley

Our long weekend at Blaxlands Cottage in Broke was wonderful. This unique accommodation has everything described and so many more unexpected personal touches. It really is a comfortable home away from home with beautiful border collies Bella and Baxter an added bonus!
