Event Cinemas Miranda

This cinema is in disrepair. The seats are all damaged and falling apart, regardless which cinema you’re allocated.In desperate need of a referb, especially after you’ve seen the local competition which has recently renovated and charges the same price for tickets.

Visited last night to watch Titanic,to start with why is your tickets $25 and everywhere else tickets to see Titanic were $16 .Toilets were really dirty and smelly.The seets in the theater room are so small and very uncomfortable they don't even recline.We booked our seets in the top row as I was walking up I could see the amount of dirt,lids,wrappers and popcorn under and towards the backrest of the seats Movie was amazing but the place needs alot of improvement.

Gold Class was great. Seats were very comfortable and clean. Service was good however one drink ordered did not come. Menu seems pretty good. Wine was obviously out of a bottle a few days old. Better to buy a bottle if it suits.

One of the best cinemas in the suburbs. Great candy bar. Even better gold class, you can access a gold class lounge before your movie starts or order an alcoholic beverage and yummy food to consume while watching a movie on very comfortable reclining arm chairs.

For anyone familiar with the nightclub in Sutherland called Hunters, this is the cinema version of that. Sticky floors, food and crumbs in the back of seats and cup holders, and bending chairs that offer no support (in the regular cinemas). For a long time they continued making online ticket holders queue up to collect paper tickets. This venue was amazing when it first open, but deteriorated quickly sometime during Covid. The majority of staff are teenagers who don’t seem to really care what happens, and you can probably walk through with no one checking tickets if you want. The last time I saw a movie the fire alarm went off and we had to leave half way through the movie. The teenage staff had no idea what was going on - we just had to leave, even when the alarm stopped. After the last few visits I replied back to several of their email surveys, although I’ve never received a reply. It genuinely appears like they don’t care about improving, hence my review here.If you have the option, Hoyts Cronulla is a much more enjoyable experience. I’ll probably finish watching the movie I missed from there.

My main cinema I go to, seats are great along with parking! Wide range of experiences be good class, vmax and normal. Shame the bar is closed outside of gold class though. Popcorn is always fresh and hot and wide range of lollies and drinks.

Really disappointed in Miranda Gold Class. Was so excited to go see Avatar 2 for the first Gold Class visit since covid, but the theatre was so dirty and grotty I felt uncomfortable, the chairs were peeling and old and my husband's chair was even broken. ...it smelt bad in the theatre and the toilets were filthy. Bad job Event Cinema's. You have a hide charging that much money for such a yuck experience. It's certainly NOT gold class. I would advise everyone to save your money. We won't be back.

The review is in two parts - ordinary theatres and Gold Class.Ordinary Theatres:Great cinemas but none of the ushers control noisy or misbehaving customers.Gold Class:$50 a ticket to sit in a comfy reclining chair with lots of small distracting lights, people munching on food brought to them by people wandering around the theatre, etc. I can have the same experience at home with my big tv and surround sound for nothing. Actually, home is darker because I turn off every light.

Solid cinema experience. Theatres are clean and have great audio systems.Highly recommend VMAX over the smaller theatres as the leather seats are far superior and comfortable.Buying tickets online and picking them up was a seamless experience.
