Premium Air

It gives us pleasure to write this recommendation on behalf of Premium Air.We had a Breezair evaporative cooling system for 23 years and recently, when it finally broke down, we decided to replace it with a new, updated unit, utilising the original ducting.Premium Air handled the supply and installation with a minimum of fuss. Peter Davidson provided us with an excellent quote, followed by a visit to inspect the site and installation was completed within 2 weeks from our first phone enquiry. The company has an excellent team from Samantha in the office, with her bright and welcoming manner, to Brendan, our extremely well organised and efficient installer.We are glad we chose Premium Air to do the job for us and feel confident that we will be looked after in the future, should we have any problems with the system.

We just moved into our new home with the exisiting heating and cooling consisting of gas ducted heating/EVAP cooling and also three other Reverse Cycle (RC) split systems. It was not effecient.We wanted to simplify this into one RC ducted system which will be offset by our solar/battery system.We had 4 different companies come out and carry out a site visit with only two saying that a RC Ducted system was possible due to the house being two storey.David, came out and presented a design comprising of 6 zones using 16 outlets controlled via IZONE, this was exactly what we were after!Being a tradesman myself i knew the installation was going to be tricky, so i requested the best.Michael was fantastic, I wish i had employees like him!His knowledge/experience in the trade reflects in the quality of his work, tt is excpetional! He explained everything along the way, kept us informed with the progrees of the installation and also cleaned up.We are very pleased with our decision to choose Premium Air to installation our heating and cooling for our new home!

Premium Air installed my ducted gas heating with add-on refrigerative cooling and zoning, 6 years ago and I have been very pleased with the result - combined with good insulation, my house is very comfortable all year round and the HVAC is very efficient to operate. Premium Air put in a lot more effort up front, compared with other providers, in evaluating the best option and working out where everything would be installed with me. Their installer did great work , cleaned up the house and waste afterwards and configured and demonstrated the system controls for me. Unfortunately there were some faults with Seeley International’s equipment, but Premium replaced it immediately. Recently when having the unit serviced, the service company (not Premium) identified a small leak in the condensate line and showed me fraudulent images of a rusting and leaking unit - claiming this “very old” unit (6 years only) would need to be replaced ($5K+) and offering to send out their sales rep to do the quote. Instead I called Premium and the team came out, identified the leak (most likely due to house movement) confirmed the unit absolutely didn’t need replacing and instead fixed it for me without charge. There are many dodgy HVAC installers out there who don’t take the time to properly size up HVAC to suit your needs, do poor installs that cause damage to your house and then disappear when things don’t go quite right. Premium is not one of them and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

This is second time I reviewed this company. The first time I was asked to withdraw. After sales is terrible, my nightmare. This one and only one star is for the technician Michael. The rest is for the sales manager and reception. No reply, disappear, pushing around, pretending hiding interstate. The bloody wifi unit for the Toshiba system which costed me 20k, is such a pain to get, 6 month that I am being waiting for. And during this 6 month, nobody gave me a msg or a call. Always me, contacted them for so many times but no ending, no results and no plan.Just got reply from the operator. Here I got to make it clear:1: we never heard anything from the supplier about refund.2: No one ever updated any information about delay or shortage of stock during waiting time of 4 month, not until that I contacted them.3: msg or calls not replied until I reviewed on google map first time and Michael came down to have a look about flooding since they installed system. Ps Michael is a good man4 sales manage promised that they were going to arrange a tech coming down to make a waste water pipe that Michael previously agreed to do. I waited for a week, no one contacted since then. Last Friday messaged the Sales manager, no reply, msged Monday again, no reply.I made this review again yesterday( Monday), finally the sales manager msged back, because I told him that I was going to review again, to the consumer affair, and Vcat.What kind of service like this?

Highly recommend the Premium Air team based on the new heating and cooling installation they completed at our house. David provided a thought out and custom design based on the specific needs of our house, and Michael did a superb job installing the system. It was clear to see the pride he took in his work, with a close attention to detail.

David was exceptional. His pleasant nature and 'can do' attitude, alongside his knowledge & advice, gave us the confidence to think out of the square and and actually go above our budget and settle on a better outcome.Samantha in the office was also nice to deal with and most helpful.Michael, the installer was brilliant. Again with a 'can do' ethos and pleasant nature, he quietly and efficiently did a great job.Mitsubishi, on the other hand, were very disappointing!Their product is excellent but their customer service and care in this instance was woeful!!Despite this, the Premium Air teams efforts to appease and deliver, have in my opinion, enhanced their reputation, when it looked like going the other way, courtesy of Mitsubishi.As such, I would definitely recommend Premium Air.

Premium Air provided us with a great design, product advice and installation. This wasn't the first time we have used Premium Air and we came back. The pre-sales engineer David H measured up all the rooms and provided us with a great design, advice and choices around products. The installation team (Nick & Mick) were great. Did a very good job and where they picked up on other house issues I wasn't aware of they provided some good contacts to contractors to fix those issues.Only feedback is with back office communications and being prompt. On the day of install there was a delivery of all the material at 7:30am which no one told us about. Apart from that and a few delayed responses from the sales office it was great.There was one outstanding issue with the installation which is to be rectified but I'm confident the team will get it done shortly.

Fantastic service from David, Samantha and the team! Timely, honest and very professional.We would definitely use the team again if we need heating or cooling solutions.

New system was installed within a week of go ahead. Installer was knowledgeable, professional and did a great job. Extremely happy.
