What a magical place. Old growth trees and palms. Definitely worth a visit. Donated by a private family to the National Parks. What a beautiful gesture.

Well signed hiking trails. Paths have rocks and roots in them, footwear with good grip is advised. Good for spotting wildlife. We saw pademelons and yellow tailed black cockatoos. Mind your head as well, there are a handful of vines and branches growing across the track.

Beautiful tranquil walk. So quiet you can hear the birds clearly.

MacDonald section of the Tamborine National Park provides a rainforest walk. The track is on the mountain side. The start is downhill and the finish is uphill. The track is only recommended for walkers. During rainy season the track may be slippery! The vegetation is quite lush along the trail.

A great walk through palm trees and lush rain forest. You may even see the worlds largest skink (Land Mullet).

Well maintained walk way. If you like rain forests go for it, it's a short loop of 1.2km.
