SNL Building Constructions

Having purchased a home through SNL some years ago I was pleasantly impressed with the handover from the Building side to me (the buyer). All defects which were very few was handled in a timely manor. The overall quality of the build and information handed to me at my final inspection was well put together. I would not hesitate to invest my money with this company again in the near future.

We bought off the plan through Ray White Newcastle in mid 2017 for a project that SNL were building in Stockton Street Morissett. We were assured completion in September 2018. No correspondence from either party in relation to updates or progress or why the delays. I would not do business with either party. The project is now in its final stages in 2023. Only 5 years late.

Had an issue with my townhouse build by SNL, cracks appearing on the internal walls, cracks and open spaces in the brick work was found on the front of the unit, the front door moved out of alignment and not closing correctly.visible movement was clear in sight however SNL dismissed it as with in tolerance and nothing is to be done.The unit still had 5 months builders warranty left.2 years later strata contacted an engineer from resinject to inspect the problem and subsidence was detected, they had to pump more than a cubic meter of resin to re-lift the unit back to its position. this was due to empty spaces under the footings which caused the drop and shift of the unit.we got left with a $15000 bill that we had to fill in while SNL gets away with it.Do not use these people to build a thing!

I live in the gables at Waratah. they were constructed by SNL about 4 years ago. Numerous problems have arisen. No proper gradient on bathroom floor to allow water to escape. Numerous problems with gates. Concrete in driveway not levelled properly, water pools. Cracks in rear courtyard. Fencing never anchored properly when built and a strong wind caused fences to lean and supports had to be reconcreted and bolted properly (under insurance). Now September 2018 we have mould and mildew forming on the exterior paintwork. Obviously paint used in construction not mildew and mould resistant, if so, usually up to 15 years guarantee given from paint companies. Some residents have received letters indicating that we may have an employee of SNL on our executive committee. Repairs, faults e.g. no slope in bathrooms, our committee says they are minor repairs and we pay repairs out of our fees. Other than the above, I find it quite pleasant to live here and the units are built reasonably solid and inclusions are fine.

A wonderful company with morals you just don't see often enough in this industry.

SNL Building Constructions built our first home. Being new to the whole build process our site supervisor and his construction team made us feel very comfortable and were always helpful throughout our build. Their attention to detail prior to handover was 2nd to none and their promptness to rectifications was awesome. Would not hesitate to use the SNL team should we decide to build again in the future.

My question for the SNL Building CEO and board of managers is: Have you built your own house similar to what you made in Elermore Ridge?

elemore ridge project currently being built by snl building would have to be the worst building quality seen. nothing but issues from the start to finish of the build and still on going. made fast and cheap with lack of care.
