We met up with a couple from Warnambool, tried to go into this half empty restaurant for lunch.The doorman asked if we had a reservation, to which I replied No".He then said they were booked out!It was 12.45pm and the restaurant was half empty. He declined to allow us to have a coffee on the balcony

Had a great lunch here today. Staff were very welcoming, letting our dog dine with us on the balcony and even bringing her a bowl of water. The risotto and the seafood pasta were both excellent.

It’s the Saturday lunch time about 1pm, the inside tables were not full only 8 tables of customers. The staff said I have to ask our chief if you don’t have booking. So the staff came back and said we were short of staffs can’t take any customers . At the meantime, there was a group of customers finished and left. We waited and thought that maybe we can take the table, but the chief was so rude and said “we were short of staffs so we don’t take you guys. Do you understand?” Talked it closely on my face. This is a very disgraceful experience I’ve ever had in my life. Not recommended!!

Delicious food, especially the rib-eye which was perfectly cooked. The staff were uniformly sweet, helpful and efficient, but with friendly chatter along the way. A lovely (on the higher end of $$) birthday evening.

Honestly, I don't think 1 star good for this place. Went to wharf for Mother's Day lunch. I had been trying to make a book, but the phone just cut off all the time, and when we were there, the old lady was so rude. Even a good spot & meals I think I will think I will go there anymore. The foods are not that amazing. Even good taste Many nice places with the good foods. Bad services, very very unfriendly staff. It's ashamed for the owner . Good spot, good view and one of the big seafood resto but I think I won't go back.

Amazing views and the chips are so value for money for the price. The fish are well battered and not fishy at all making it easier to eat. Loved the potato cake that was so crunchy. Outside there is live crayfish that is freshly caught on the day and cooked on the spot - definitely recommend trying!

Popped in for lunch around 1.30, it was pretty quiet lots of empty tables, was told they had a large booking that just called and they couldn’t seat us. The older woman on the door was really rude and to turn away a table and not be apologetic was really odd, we felt like we were just an annoyance not a couple spending money to support your business. We didn’t go back loads of other fabulous places in PF with staff that were lovely.

We had a lovely, pleasant dinner here, great service, friendly staff. Beautiful views on the water. The mussles cooked in sauce were to die for, left us wanting more although generous serving, so delicious and the good ole fish n chips were yummy, the fish was soft, flakey and fresh. Nice atmosphere too.

Nice view over the river, friendly staff, comfortable setting.Food was presented well, the steak was great, my squid was over cooked, a crisp Chardonnay worked well with the other fish dishes ordered. Lots of seafood options on menu.Bookings essential but they managed to squeeze us in.

Wonderful dinner tonight at The Wharf. Fabulous service, great food. I had the oysters then squid greek salad (squid cooked perfectly) and husband had the garlic bread (crunchy crust and soft moist garlic inside - exactly as it should be) then a risotto. It was a special occasion and their customer service was faultless. Thank you.
