Hocko's Auto & Mechanical Repairs

I had electrical issues with my Sprinter van and was worried about breaking down in the Nullarbor. Hocko's did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing all the problems and the car is back to running like a charm. Cheers guys!

Marty from Ceduna Foreshore suggested I call as needed trailer light replacement done. Rang with great hopes. They were dashed. No hello. Just a grunt. Said Hi and before I got to ask about repair, person who answered just said “I’m busy”…and that was the end of that. My brief experience with Hocko’s.was over just like that.

We had a wheel bearing collapse on our caravan at Eucla WA on Thursday. We rang Hocko's at Ceduna and asked if he could fix it he said bring it in and they would look at it. They are truck repairers and were busy but when the caravan arrived on Friday about 11.45 they got onto it straight away. Price was good and they also checked the other 3 wheels. Thanks Hocko and Brian who did the repairs.

Arrived in Ceduna on a Sunday with an alert on dashboard saying I needed to change the oil in my ute. Made enquiries and went to see a Holden mechanic, he was busy for the next two weeks and recommended Hocko's. We went to see Hocko's and was fitted in to his schedule on Tuesday morning, asked him to just do an oil and filter change. He got back to us during the service to say our tyres needed replacing, some we're worn down to the mesh on the inside wall, picked us up to show us, plus the terminal clamps on the battery were loose. On our ok he replaced all tyres and battery clamps.Highly recommend him as an honest and knowledgeable mechanic, charging reasonable rates.

Absolutely amazing service. Hocko went out of his way on a public holiday to help me out and get me on the road and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Thank you very much.

Had a problem with my electrics from Van to car. Turned out the wires were broken and Matt, virtually repaired it immediately and got us back on the road with all lights working perfectly. Great job for a more than fair price. Thanks. Highly recommended

Best mechanics I’ve visited. Had a problem with overheating whilst travelling, he was very busy but still made time to fit us in and order the parts. Also showed us examples of working fans and explained the problem.

Wow Wayne, just phenomenal!Pulled up with a broken starter motor (had to get a tow start to even get to Ceduna). He immediately dropped everything else, phoned a bunch of different people, drove off to pick up the new starter, put it in all within 2 hours! In the end he even made sure all fluids were topped and ready to go across the Nullabor, gave me his number just in case something else goes wrong.I was worried about being stuck for at least another day but this was the absolute best service I've ever gotten. Above and beyond really. Thanks!

On our travels with caravan on Eyre Peninsula Darren got us out of a dying battery problem in our Ranger. New battery ordered and installed within 48 hours (ANZAC Day in between). Great service, we’ll done Darren, thanks!

Was a life saver when we had car issues. Had a fuel issue, we called he booked us in first thing that morning and got my partner myself and our 3 week old baby back on the road. Recomend calling before just rocking up as better edicate and he can let you know if he can fit you in its always hard on a business if you just rock up and expect them to drop everything and fit you in.
