Sorry. It was not what we expected.need more food stands. More Italian or market stales...was a bit embarrassing bringing interstate visitors

I'm sure that the committee did make an effort.But $25 to get in and really other than the Italian singing, felt ripped on leaving.

$25pp at the gate, limited seating in the shade, one main big Italian food stall that everyone queues for as that are not that many Italian food stalls to choose from. More like a Sunday market feel for us but there are shows on in the marquee throughout the day but if you came here to eat then I feel that element was lacking a little. There are some photos at the entrance of one of the gates that show some of the Italian settlers that came and worked in the sugar cane fields which was a nice nod to the history. Also nobody could direct us to the pizza eating, not sure why.

A unique local festival. A big happy get together. Location great but contentious..

Italian festival is a must for food lovers ,Italian varieties only, music,always draws a big crowd in Ingham main street.

A nice vibe overall, Ingham is very nice - lots to see and do (Wallaman Falls, JKs deli etc.). However it is $25 entry fee into the 'festival' - there was only 1 pizza stall with understandably an hour wait. The gluten free option was a significantly smaller wrap for the base, it wasn't nice and at an extra cost. There was only 2 pasta stalls - one didn't have any vegetarian OR gluten free options. The other only had 1 vegetarian option, no gluten free. The coffee option didn't taste great either. No gelato, only a Mr Whippy van. A few arts and craft stalls, not many. Nothing ran to time on the schedule, which is ok, but it meant I missed most of the things I wanted to see. The entertainment singers had absolutely beautiful voices. However there really is only 1 entertainment stage. I think this festival has real potential but in its current state I wouldn't come back again unfortunately. This perspective was shared by many people at the caravan park

Extremely disappointed. Definitely not worth the price of entry, considering there is a gate charge we were expecting a lot more. Hardly any food options and what was there was overpriced, subpar and far from authentic. Not enough seating. All of the stalls (which was very few) were the same old stuff people sell at every market. Glad we didn’t invite family along for the drive with us because it would have been such a let down

Very disappointing. No authentic Italian foods no variety

I am now the secretary of Aust/Italian Festival. I have been involved sinced the beginning 26 years ago. Love the involvement.

Had a wonderful time at the Italian Festival. Good food, entertainment and general good fun. Lots of local/regional market stalls, rides and games for the kids. Going back next year!
