Bilyana Cottages

Wow! Beautiful and quiet authentic rural escape with mountain views, wallabies and plenty of birds. About 15mins from Boonah and 5mins from Maroon Dam, we loved our stay and it was the perfect place to unwind. We stayed in Rosella, a surprisingly spacious and homely cabin that is dog friendly. The kitchen had everything we needed to be self sufficient for the weekend and overall it was very comfortable. Looking forward to seeing how the new owners Craig and Caroline improve upon this fabulous escape and coming back to explore more of the nearby national parks and mountains!

Excellent, quaint cottages set in bushland gardens well back from the main road making them the perfect getaway. Bill and Doreen are great hosts and the birthday card for my wife was a lovely touch. The extra care was much appreciated.

Wonderful,peaceful and relaxing

Manager (owner on site) is not very customer friendly and it makes her feel sceptical" when you message her to ask when properties are available on site. She expects from her customers to reply back to her even if customer can't make it to book accommodation. Also there is no other option to check if and when properties are available online so you need to contact manager on site and she is not happy when you ask her about availability as she expect when you send request to book it straight away. As mentioned before unfortunately there is no way you can check availability online so every time you want to check you need to message them directly and they are not happy about it. Doreen and Bill are relaxed, friendly hosts. Our cabin was well designed and equipped, lacking only a conventional oven. It provides a delightfully framed view of one of my favourite sections of the Dividing Range from the balcony. We plan to return in winter.

We have been coming to Bilyana for years, and have always loved the serenity of the place, and thoughtfulness of our hosts.

Great place..loved the fire place..cottage is fully equipped with excellent stuff.. didn't need to unpack things I was carrying..

Stayed here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and clean the cottage was! We had a lovely view of grassy hills and lots of nature. We were able to watch kangaroos hop around and birds feed their babies in their nests, right in our backyard!We had a fully equipped and functioning kitchen, and a nice hot shower. A few bugs here and there but that’s to be expected, considering we were nestled right in a lovely garden :)
