Dr Peter Barry is my wife's dentist and she has incredibly high standards and is generally terrified of dentists due to a very bad experience. She trusts Dr Barry implicitly and now I do too. The practice is soothing from the moment you enter the beautifully decorated waiting area. The staff are wonderful and Dr Barry himself is a superb dentist - calm, patient, not at all rushed. It would be fair to say the examination, cleaning, scaling and xrays were, to use my wife's favourite expression, like having butterflies dance in one's mouth. Superb dentist - I have some more work to be done and whilst I won't say 'I can't wait to go back' - I can say, it doesn't bother me in the slightest.(11 Sept 2020 - Since I wrote this for a Whitecoat review in August, I’ve been back twice to have some more work done and I can only say my first impressions have been reinforced - Dr Barry is absolutely the best Dentist I’ve ever been to. We’re about to move from QLD to NSW, but have no doubt the next time we’re up this way, we’ll both be back - cannot recommend Dr Barry highly enough.)

Great practice, exceptional service. Dr Wong has been my dentist for many years and I travel all the way from Mermaid Beach to Paradise Point every time I need to see him. All staff are caring and very professional. I have had quite a few complex issues with my teeth and they were amazing at being able to fit me in, diagnosing and managing these! Definitely recommend them!

Moved to the Gold Coast 5 years ago and started seeing Dr Peter Barry at his Aqua Dental Practice. I have pretty terrible teeth thanks to a lack of care when younger and there is no judgement, just care and kindness. Dr Barry works with you to get the results you want and I can't recommend him highly enough. As a dental phobic, if I can be cared for here, anyone can.

I could not rate this dental practice highly enough. The whole team here are so incredibly kind and accommodating, from reception, to the dental nurses/assistants, to the dentists themselves. Dr Moira has been so accommodating, patient and considerate of my dental phobia, with all care taken, gentle as possible never judged and never rushed. I do not have great teeth, and did not care for them enough when I was younger, but there is no judgement or criticism, only compassion. For me, Dr Moira has changed a dentist visit from something that I would dread, have extreme anxiety, and avoid until I was in desperate pain, to now having regular appointments that I feel very comfortable attending. I'm so grateful to have found Dr Moira, this fantastic dental practice.

My husband and I have been going to see Dr Kevin Wong now for over 5 years. He is extremely gentle, professional, knowledgeable and experienced. I have referred many friends to him who also speak very highly of him. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who has a fear of going to the dentist.

Dr Kevin Wong is professional, efficient, knowledgable, friendly and very conscious of comfort… as are the rest of the staff. I will continue to return to this exceptional practice and highly recommend anyone else to do the same whether it be a basic checkup to a more complicated procedure.

Dr Kevin Wong does such an incredible job and never causes any pain or discomfort unlike other dentists I have seen in the past! Thank you for keeping my smile looking great! I would highly recommend him as a dentist.

Although well into my senior years I am not a very good dental patient. Been spoilt over many decades by a friend who was our dentist until an illness forced his retirement. Was referred to Aqua Dental and Dr Peter Barry by our Health fund. What luck. Not only is the surgery extremely welcoming but Dr Barry’s expertise is obvious from the first visit. We now have a family connection there as my wife and my sister are also patients. Thank you Dr Barry and thank you to all others involved. We will continue to recommend Aqua to all our friends and family.

A delight to visit their dental surgery and may I add I do not like going to dentists at all, but Dr Peter Barry makes it a pleasant experience. The office is beautifully decorated and shows wonderful HD videos of nature films (no audio) in the waiting room. One can tell he has pride in his practice.Dr Barry is gentle and competent. A quietly spoken man. He has treated my elderly mother for many years and mum adores him. Afonso, the receptionist is also a delight.
