MWF Plumbing

We were building a new home and chose MWF Plumbing from Stanthorpe to handle the plumbing and septic. They were quick to provide a quote and complete the compliance certificate to get the job started. That is where it ends. There was NO communication. There was one screw up after another including the septic popping out of the ground because they failed to put water in the septic tank and gas leak. And weeks of being told we will be back tomorrow and never showing up. Then couldn’t get the trenches dug because they couldn’t find an excavator to do the work. They have NO customer service.The final plumbing inspection reveals several things that require fixing.I would NEVER recommend MWF. Even the ladies in the office and the workers themselves know what a shambles the sons have made of the family owned business passed to them by their father.

We've lived in Stanthorpe for a little over a year now and it's very reassuring to know that there's a great local business available to help with all your plumbing needs. Michael and the team are friendly, knowledgeable and above all very responsive to any type of enquiry. We've used MWF for periodic maintenance and breakdown repair. Both have been carried out courteously and without fuss or hassle. Highly recommended.

MWF did the plumbing when we rebuilt our house around 6 years ago.All seemed well until recently when the pipe connected to the bottom of the toilet fell off because they never put any supports on the pipe.It's amazing it didn't fall off earlier. They sent someone to fix it that caused another problem and they had to send someone to fix that problem. Then they had the nerve to send me an invoice for something that I paid for 6 yrs ago that wasn't done correctly. Numerous phone calls to the manager have gone unanswered and all they can do is send me reminders. Worse than that, after checking that they had put the straps on the pipe to secure it I noticed the hot and cold water pipes under the house are just hanging there with no support. I'm pretty sure this is not the right thing to do and will probably become a problem at some stage. Perhaps this review might get a response from them. Really, is it too much to expect a professional finish that complies with building codes , or even a phone call to discuss the matter??? Shame on you MWF.

We completed a bathroom and kitchen renovation. we needed plumbing supplies and installation. MWF were our supplier of choice. Their Stanthorpe showroom made it easy to select quality fittings and their plumbers onsite were prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Well done MWF plumbing!

Thank you very much for responding to our request yesterday to reinstall gas connection to our stovetop and fix a faulty toilet cistern. To come out to our rural property in the day was much appreciated!Brent did a fantastic job on both, despite the gas connection proving to be a rather challenging task due to old bench and connection pipes. As a builder, I have used a number of plumbers around Stanthorpe over the last 20 years. None have compared to MWF Plumbing. Mario and Frank stood by their customers, and when something went wrong, they would always fix it! Mario's two sons, Stephen and Michael, now run the business, and their service remains second to none. I do not believe comments attacking their reputation. Even today they fixed a burst pipe for me that was installed by another plumber!!! MWF have proved time and again to be excellent tradesmen and honest in every dealing. 20 years of great service guys. Thank you again!

MWF have been very helpful in supplying the materials for our new bathrooms and a water filtering system. Michael went the extra mile by trying to source fittings for our new bathrooms that were not part of their standard range or on display in the showroom. Communication via email and text was quick and efficient. He would try to find similar items based on pictures we sent him so we were able to buy locally as much as possible. The guys delivered all in time for the works to begin, with no hassle. Competitive pricing and they would try to match anything you could find cheaper elsewhere. Thanks again!!

Just built our first home out of town and needed a septic system, water tanks, gas installation and hot water service set up. Steven and the team did an amazing job and provided an excellent service.
