About the Business

Curtin 1 - ACT Sport and Recreation |

Curtin District Playing Fields are located in Dunstan Street and can be seen from the Cotter Road to the north. The ground has a large sealed car park. There is a pavilion with change rooms, toilets and a canteen block.

The ground has three Rugby/League fields as well as several modified fields, and all of these are floodlit to training standard. The layout for summer sport consists of a senior baseball diamond with large back nets, sand base cut outs and dugouts. There are batting cages behind the main diamond. There are also several other secondary diamonds with smaller back-nets. The ground also has a synthetic cricket wicket at the north-western end.

The Curtin Shopping Centre is a five minute drive away and can be found by turning right into McCulloch Street and heading south.

Nice place to go for a walk some upgrading in the facilities wouldn't hurt. If you like horses this is your place.

Nice place to chill, not next to any main roads and the most action you'll see there is people kicking a ball around so it's pretty chill. It's next to two schools with open equiptment to play on, you can also get on the roof of the school pretty easily if you want to chill up there

It’s a nice natural grass playground for cricket, footy and a bit of soccer prac. As for success games, may not be really suitable given its unevenness and small size.

Nice ovals, amenities are pretty rudimentary. Canteen rin by club volunteers and well organised. Was bitterly cold on the day we attended, not much shelter or opportunity to escape icy winds.
