Water Fix ProgrammeUsed the Water Fix programme to address some tap leaks and replacement flick mixer and shower heads. Service fee ($33) is excellent value and scope of work for the repairs was very good. But you need to be very cautious with getting new products – this is were they make their money eg new flick mixer (Posh brand – Recce Plumbing own brand) was charged at $220 but costs only $88 new at Recce. So the money is made selling highly over-priced fittings. But that said – great service, someone else arranges all fittings, supplies etc, and installation with warranty. On the whole good outcome that I would use again.

After some mishap at Xmas, SW worked very hard and very quickly to restore temp supply to our entire street. Accidental damage to our building's outdoor tap was addressed very smartly by the 'customer advocate'. Lovely to deal with these people.

Sydney Water can enter your property and into your backyard to do maintenance on pipes and sewerage. I didn't know that. I heard a bit of noise and looked out the window and there they were. They forgot their scripts and the film crew. Must have been an improv session, or site research for inspo. Maybe it's a return to a good old plumbing scenario after a bad run with people being stuck in the white goods.

after the water main pipe burst on Epping rd, there is no communication, no progress update on the website, how do i know if the water is safe to drink again? you just keep us in the dark cause you don't care! shame on you! the management should be sacked, all of them! useless!

Submitted a hidden leak application after receiving a water bill over $600. Had plumbers come and fix the problem however it was inside the house and was not considered for a reduction. Rang to see if consideration would be given as we are pensioners and had outlaid $1800 to fix the problem. We spoke to Daniel in customer care who kindly reduced it to 0 a wonderful outcome. Thank you.

Too lazy to contact a real estate, themselves to track down the property owner legally responsible and listed on the outstanding bill. Arrogantly believe, it’s the tenants job to play unpaid debt collector and chase it up on their behalf. Unbelievable!

Have just called the Sydney water regarding a water pipe breakage. Bubbling up through the middle of our road.This was reported on Mon 22/8. Obviously not considered very important to get to Wed and nothing has happened. U really don't take water wastage very seriously. Very very disappointed with this service. Not a good look Sydney Water.

Have called Sydney water for the 8th time about a metal plate covering a fire hydrant under the road outside my house. The metal plate has come loose and makes a clanging sound every time a car drives over it. It's so loud it wakes me up at 5am. It's a continual source of noise pollution. To date attempts to fix it have involved someone pulling up and shoving some rubber in the side of the plate. doesn't fix it funnily enough. I'm at my wit's end. My father just passed away and instead of being able to rest and get a full night's sleep I get woken up by this metal plate clanging on the road. I have nothing to lose posting here as I have no faith that they will ever fix this. Next stop my local member.

One can say sydney water is very pure. The staff are humble and polite. As my hubby worked here, had been there during Christmas. Great place to work.

1) I can not find an email address for contacting Sydney Water. There should be one on contact information, particularly as I don't want to use Facebook, etc, AND I don't want to wait on a phone line if I'm overseas2) WHY do I now have to login just to see my water bill. Security overload !!! Another password to try and remember for zero purpose.
