A Shot in the Dark Photography

I've had a horrendous experience with A Shot In the Dark. I paid for photos for my first Bikini show, A Clash At the Coast, in Batemans Bay as she was the designated photographer.I couple of weeks after the show I received an envelope (not padded or tracked, just a standard paper envelope) which was meant to contain my USB with pictures on.Hayley never picks up her phone, I had left 2 voicemails and a Facebook message before she finally picked up one of my calls.She has supposedly sent me 2 more USBs since I first contacted her about this on April 30th 2018, but neither of them have made it (I don't believe that Australia Post is THAT bad!) and she continues to dodge my calls and ignore my voicemails, I must have left her at least 5.All I want are my photos from a very important day to me!!100% would not recommend her, she is extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

Our wedding was captured by Hayley beautifully. Everyone was so comfortable with her throughout the whole of the day until the early hours of the morning . Hayley reduced any stress with her experiance and thoughtful touches. Sharing many laughs my husband and I love that we have so many lovely moments caught in time. We are forever thankful that we had Hayley from A Shot In The Dark Photography for our best day ever!

It’s been several years since we used this photographer and I still look at my wedding photos and want to cry. I tell everyone get the best photographer you can find because that’s what you keep, they’re your memories. We have no good photos as every photo was low quality & low resolution so nothing could be printed properly. I truely hope she has improved in her quality of work & communication skills as making contact was like pulling teeth. People will always remember the things that cause us heartache and those that warm our hearts unfortunately my wedding day became the memory that caused heartache with no decent photos to show for it. I would like to think this was a once off & no other person has experienced this. Just research your photographer and get the best you can find these are the memories you will keep with you. I’m sorry to give such a bad review but every time a memory pops up from our wedding I just want to cry because we have nothing to show for it.The 2 stars are not for the work we received but for Hayley as a person. I hope she has grown from our experience and advanced her skills since my wedding. Sorry to leave a poor review but I am still heartbroken that I have no good keepsake memories of our special day.
