The River Boat Bar
Boat Bar is moored and stays in one place only; does not sail/cruise. A bit boring after a while. Needs to cruise; even 100 metres there and back would be sufficient! Some bar staff are great, the 18 year old kid serving upstairs however is too officious.

We had a great night Friday night . A long awaited catch up with sine friends and family. We had VIP seating upstairs . Was a quiet night but , we all made our own fun . Our barman upstairs Josh was amazingHe had some good laughs with us

I can't thank The River Boat Float enough for a great time. From the service to the food, drinks and entertainment it was all perfect.Enough so I have booked another party on board in February and can't wait.

I would like to give a huge shout out to the staff on The River Boat Bar. I live in an area with lots of bars and pubs but I have never experienced the level of service and professionalism I received on the boat. Guys and girls, the atmosphere you created felt like I was among family, you were all so attentive to all of our needs and you provided service with lots of smiles. Massive kudos to all of you.Thank you for making the night so much more special.

It was good until we got blocked from the bar and told the security manager would just kick us off so there wasn't a point in buying drinks to just find out he said it was fine and the lady just didn't want to serve us. Not worth $25

Sunday sips on The River Boat Bar was sensational. Awesome cocktails, service and platter. We had so much fun on board, relaxing in the sun with gorgeous river views. Memories made, the ladies loved it. Thanks Carol and team, we will be back.

I went on this boat on Saturday, the concept is good and boat and facilities are great! As any new facility there is some teething issues i found.When ordering cocktails there was only one staff member so it sometimes took 15/20mins to get your drinks and the boat was not packed so would hate to see this when busy (this was when there was only 2-3 people in front of you also).The food is very limited especially for operating from 2pm - 10pm which may cause intoxication issues.We also got on the boat at 2pm and had 2 platers included in our booking but was not much food so we ordered 2 x sliders and another plater straight away. But the staff were not organised and ran out of food by 4pm (2 hours into opening) and we had to wait 1.5 hours for our order as they had to go to shore and buy more food. At this time there was about 25 people on the boat and no food options available.I was ordering a mocktail and adding vodka as it was the only flavor option i liked but was being charged for a cocktail that had 2 shots of alcohol in it and was only receiving 1 shot of vodka. (so being charged $5 for 30mls of vodka $19 in total for the drink).It would be nice if the boat moved up and down the river and wasn't always stationery.As mentioned above most of these are teething issues and i am sure will change overtime. But great idea for local catch ups.
