GP2U/PSYCH2U Telehealth

I have been with gptu for 6 years now with my gorgeous psychologist Helen Middleton and I’ve enjoyed our calls every time. She helps me with my personal problems amazingly and i have no idea what I’d do without her. I have never had any problems with gptu and there an amazing service to use. Highly recommend.

I would like to acknowledge Elida for her help, she is very easy to talk with, has been extremely helpful and has shown me many ways to relax etc. I have never found it easy to communicate my feelings to anyone before, A big thank you to Elida Assenheimer

I've had nothing but a positive experience with GP2U. The team have been incredibly helpful when I've needed to change appointments, my psychologist communicates and checks in with me regularly and I have come such a long way in taking charge of my thoughts and controlling my emotions from spiralling out of control. Cannot recommend GP2U highly enough!

I have been attending this clinic via Telehealth for 3 1/2 years. In this time, I have received excellent professional care and support from Dr Elida Assenheimer (psychologist) and would recommend her and this clinic for all your Telehealth needs. Well done.

Do not use this service. Dealing with peoples mental health is not their priority. Making peoples mental health worse seems to be what they are good at. I have been on the waiting list for over 12 months, rang to see if I was any closer to getting an appointment and was told I had been sent a text message 3 months earlier and they had tried to call me to let me know my referral had expired. I had no record of a text on my phone and no messages/voicemails from them. I consequently had been taken off the wait list, now need a new appoint with my GP for another referral and then back on the wait list for at least another 6 months possibly more. I will be getting a referral to a different service for sure. If the admin staff are that incompetent I won't be paying $600 to find out their doctors are useless too.

Before you get a referral please call them to confirm they DO NOT OFFER BULK BILLING! I’ve been helping a friend who is receiving disability pension & trying to find a psychiatrist. After waiting for a call from Psych2U who didn’t bother calling two months after receiving referral I called the earliest appointment is in two months. The cost is $700 with $200 rebate from Medicare for someone receiving disability pension this is unaffordable! Psych2U need to update their website THEY DO NOT BULK BILL! There’s absolutely zero advantage using the service they offer plus you have the stress of waiting months for them to NOT bother calling you!

This service has been my life saver. Working jobs that I can't afford to pay big money. I feel as I am now a support worker for people with mental health issues, has been a affordable service. Helen Middleton has been there for me through out my journey. I now can help others with strategies that she has taught me. I can not have got to where I am today without her and this service.

Please, if you are feeling lost, use this service, it's genuine. The administration staff were very friendly and non judgemental. I highly recommend Helen Middleton. I was able to talk to her at my level without 'dumbing' things down. I have gained an insight into my current coping mechanisms, have remembered ones that have previously worked and how to adjust to this rabid rat race in new positive ways. I am going to miss this service when it ends.

My experience has been very positive. I have found the psychologist Dr. Elida Assenheimer to be professional, understanding and have an exceptional knowledge base. She is supportive at all times and has helped me with my issues immensely. I would highly recommend this telehealth service.

I have been receiving counselling from a psychologist from this practice for the past 9 months … it has been a great experience helping me finally deal with my grief after losing my husband in a tragic workplace accident many years ago … it also helped me thru a recent workplace bullying incident .. I have now found peace and strategies to handle my life so much better … I thoroughly recommend this company for anyone needing help. Susie
