Bought a Sealy mattress queen size with 10 year warranty, it’s been 5 years since I have had it. I got in touch with Sealy and they made so difficult to even have someone to look at it I had to go and buy another one with no satisfactory solution from them. Terrible communication from customer service. They didn’t want to help at all. They told me to have the mattress professionaly cleaned and email the receipt to them before they would do anything. The mattress was dented and good for nothing. I do not recommend. They do not value their customers.

Purchased a mattress Seville at local retailer in Yass NSW about 3 years ago. I was particular about no latex , and was assured there was none in this mattress. Within a very short time the mattress was sagging at the sides I returned to the shop and was told to take some photos as a record and come back if it got worse. I questioned the salesman on the latex content and he casually said yes there maybe some. I have since found a label that confirms this. The bed is so hot to sleep in for me, I spend most nights leaving my husband and heading to the spare room with a cheap mattress. Worse mattress I have ever purchased. Will never buy Sealy again, their retailers do not know their product nor do they care.

I had very bad experience with Sealy -- I am really upset with the quality of two mattress I purchased and especially the unpleasant customer service experience happened on me.I bought 2 x Sealy mattress about 3 months ago from Domayne shop in Auburn Sydney, I found annoying squeaky noise built up and getting worse, I liaised Sealy customer care and they sent guys to inspect and did a fix, however, that fix didn't really fully solved the problem, I then asked for replacement, they said they can't do replacement, they can only do warranty issue fix, then I said you did fix but it doesn't really work well, Sealy said they can do 2nd inspection (after some days usage and monitoring after 1st fix in hope of some improvement maybe let glue to fully dry etc. etc.), however the noise continues and even builds up a bit just over a few days, they later on said the noise from side area of the mattress is a normal thing!! I don't know technology terms they told but as a user I do know every time I sit on bed side, or press along that area around including head or feet area, there are annoying squeaky noise comes out, as a user with common sense I don't think this is normal and it's NOT acceptable. Before I bought Sealy mattress, I used another much cheaper brand ($500 mattress) for nearly 10 years, I never experienced such squeaky noise even while sitting on bed side, I don't care whatever technology Sealy uses, I only SIMPLY know I don't expect annoying squeaky noise, I can't believe 3 months old Sealy mattress (2 mattress totally cost me $4000) have such issue !! And most upset thing is Sealy customer care don't replace with new mattress, instead, they just do fixes / patches which didn't really fully solve the squeaky noise problem.I really don't have much time calling and arguing nor have time to stay home full day again to waste time for no good result, my current feeling is sadly like if I were knowing I will have above bad experiences I definitely won't buy mattress from Sealy!

Purchased a $1,000 mattress from David Jones during the COVID period and was advised that if it was not suitable we could exchange it via Sealy.Long story short, I had to deliver my mattress many months later, due to my living circumstances, and upon receiving it, it looked very jiggly an extra soft.I contacted both David Jones and Sealy and the communication has been awful on both. David Jones is telling me that I need to take the matter with Sealy and Sealy is telling me to take the matter with David Jones. As soon as I sat on it, I could feel my body sink into the springs and I weigh less than 50kg.I asked them if they could exchange it for a slightly firmer mattress because it looked very thin and cheap for the price that I paid and I knew it would cause me back pain. I never asked for a refund, and I even asked them to pay a little extra if it meant a better quality mattress. Sealy asked to have someone come and check it for faults but I cannot see a physical fault because it’s sealed in the packet still so that would be a waste of time.I informed them as soon as he got delivered, that the mattress does not look suitable so I do not understand why this company will not exchange it. I previously had a cheap mattress for 15 years that was way better than this.Please save yourself some time and get a cheaper mattress, because the one I had worth $400 looked much thicker and of better quality overall. It was also at the same firmness as the one I have from Sealy.Will not shop again from Sealy as they do not have the customer’s best interests what, they are just looking to take people’s money.

We have been waiting for 11 weeks for a mattress that was sold to us with a 4 week delivery time and we still haven't received. The customer service is absolutely appalling and after paying $5,000 I cannot believe Sealy refuse to speak to customers who buy through a Sealy rep through David Jones. I have now made 12 calls to David Jones and Sealy chasing this mattress and still no mattress with every delivery to the store date missed. Very disappointing and frustrating, appreciate delays but the customer service is some of the worst I have experienced.

$5k mattress started to deteriorate after only 2 years. Tried to make a warranty claim and couldn't because the tax invoice was in my ex partners name and Sealy wouldn't have a bar of me despite me having proof of relationship and breakdown. Really poor customer service over the phone and on email doing everything they can to avoid a warranty claim. Will replace with another brand and hope for better customer service. I have asked what would their stance be in the case of a widow making a claim....

Sealy have NO intention of honoring their warranty!I purchased a mattress with 10y warranty and its frame bent within 8 months. I logged a warranty call with Sealy and they came out to check it. They made up some excuse to say its not covered and cancelled my entire remaining warranty. I raised this with the store I purchased it from and they were horrified. They spoke to Sealy and arranged my refund.

Without doubt one of the best made mattresses around. Fit, finish and attention to details that many others can't match. Great brand too with a strong heritage of creating quality products which provide support. Herein is where the problem starts especially in a modern Sealy Posturepedic mattress/ensemble. Their mattresses are designed to offer robust support however this support is unyielding and applies an incredible amount of pressure on the body creating pressure points and cut of circulation. So your nights sleep is really disrupted with agonising pain. You wake up in the morning feeling like you didn't get the proper sleep. There is something seriously wrong with how they are designing new models as the older Sealy's were much more conforming and pressure relieving. I'm onto my second Sealy Posturepedic in 4 years and I can safely say that it doesn't matter if you buy the cheapest firm Posturepedic or the dearer Ultra plush ranges, if you are a side sleeper (on the light or heavier side of things) you will find these beds uncomfortable and it will affect your quality of life as it has been for me. Why did I buy a second Sealy in that time? Because I love how the beds are made but I learnt my health and wellbeing is more important so I'm now looking elsewhere for a solution. Btw the after sales side of Sealy is not worth the hassle. Honestly save yourself of the stress and angst and avoid them. Maybe one day Sealy will realise they have a serious design problem on their hands and address the issue to produce excellent mattresses again.

Gibson Mattress from Performance range - MEDIUM / Queen SizeTerrible mattress for a beginner, the mattress is much firmer then you remember when trying it at a store like snooze or other.I got a mattress protector aswell which was recommended at Freedom so they can do a change over 40 days if you're unhappy. I will definitely change to a Plush and have to get a pillow top from IkeaCost: $1400.00 [On Sale] Exc delivery.Not recommended, wish I went for a different brand** I went to Snooze prior and laid upon a range of different mattresses, this is the one recommended for me as ive never had my own mattress before. I got caught up in the excitement and dearly regret my decision.
