The Cove Holiday Village

Stayed in a chalet with the dogs and although I had little expectations, for $190 a night, I don’t think I’d recommend the chalets here unless you have pets and really need a break from camping.The interior is very tired with torn furniture, dirt marks and holes in the walls. There are a bunch of rules and fines for what seems like everything you can’t do or need to do, making the stay and departing process very stressful. We did not want to be paying more than the $190.With all the requirements surrounding the fines, it seems 90% of the cleaning relies on the previous guest to do which is worrisome in itself.As someone mentioned below, there is no aircon in the bedroom and the fan is quite noisy, so would be difficult for a light sleeper.The location is nice so perhaps the camping side of things would be a better option.

Great location, Large sites with green grass areas on each site.Well maintained, close to the beach and walking tracks.

Very lucky to have a side block - some sea views and the room was very well laid out.Nice & tidy, could be a bit small but fit the purpose very well.My dog loved watching people go by and have a bit of sun bath in the morning too.Overall very nice experience.

Lovely clean park, friendly and helpful staff taverna in walking distance

This is our go to for a quick getaway. The backdrop of the ocean is everything. Amnesties are clean. We have stayed in the chalets and they were neat and tidy.

Great little cabin. Well appointed rooms and very comfortable bed. Shower gets a good 9.5 rating. Mostly thought they are pet friendly.

Great park, excellent facilities, very clean and well manicured. They provide for hire leisure equipment also. Staff very friendly and helpful, certainly would stay there again.

A lovely spot for a few days stopover between the historic jetty and local tavern in walking distance to the north and beautiful honeymoon cove mere metres away to the south. A clean park with fabulous amenities, pool and shop at reception. No regrets!

Really enjoyed our stay on a powered site. Staff were all lovely and helpful, nice pool and amenities. Walking distance to a cafe, pub and the beach. We will definitely be back!

A little bit off the highway, very nice park, good sites, well layed out. Short walk to viewing points , beach and general store and tavern. Amenities were good and clean. Had a very enjoyable stay.
