What a horrible experience renting with these guys

Terrible attitude from staff, no show to Inspection.

Have dealt with them for a few years on various properties, don’t show up for appointment. Don’t allow time between vacancies. Difficult to deal with no Eftpos, try find a private if possible as they are the only real estate in town.

We loved the house we lived in but none of the repairs or maintenance we requested, ever got done.

Ray White Carnarvon are willing to evict families and children onto the street at end your lease with a sale contract between them and a buyer on vacant possession with no where to go even you have done nothing wrong, you can't sign a short term periodal lease untill you can find some where to live.All perfectly legal aslong as they process the proper paper work. Then they will take you court and get the court to them and then hold you responsible for sale interest occurred on a contract you had nothing to do with.Polliticians policies make this possible and Ray White will take full advantage of it. So long as they get their sales commission.Renter beware you are in for a scare.Either don't rent through them or be very very careful.

Easy to use and quiet

Horrible service and agent no show for the appointment, it was really shocking me

I was interested in two properties and booked viewings of them both. The agent was there on time however just opened the door and stood in silence didn’t talk to me about the property or even introduce herself. I decided to go forward and lease the more expensive of the two properties for a three month lease. I informed the agent I had enough savings to pay for the full three months up front and offered to show her my bank account as evidence. I filled out the application and waited to hear back. The next day they called my professional references and I spoke to my boss who said he had said all good things. A full week passed so I called the agency to see what the situation was the agent I spoke to said she had rung my personal reference and she had told the agent she didn’t know me so I checked the agent had the right number since I have know my reference since I was born. She confirmed she had the right number. Then I rang my reference to see if she had had a call she said she had not heard from them at all. That was nearly two weeks ago and I have not heard back from the agency since then. I decided I would rather stay in a tent for my three months stay in Carnarvon than give this company a single dollar of mine as they are obviously very unreliable and incompetent. I find the whole reference excuse very strange since they called my work reference the day after my application but I had to call them a week later to find out they couldn’t make contact with my personal reference if that was the case why didn’t they call me to sort the situations? Surely since property owners and tenants are paying them for a service this should fall under the responsibility. I’m sure the owner of the property wouldn’t be happy to know that they could have had the property filled by a full time worker but the agency are so useless that the house remains empty and they are just continuing to pay Ray White listing fees? If you’re an owner of a property I’m sure you could rent out your place privately and have more luck than using these cowboys, and if you’re looking the rent then I’d also suggest going private or staying in one of the caravan parks because at least you won’t have to give any hard earned money to lazy, unhelpful agents. I believe the only reason they get away with being so dire is because they have no competition in town.
