Matrix Education - Chatswood Campus

The Chatswood Matrix Campus is a wonderful learning hub for students like myself, with high-quality Workbooks and Theory Books to support all of us with developing a better understanding of the content provided. As a Year 11 student currently enrolled in the Biology, Chemistry and Advanced English courses at this campus, I really appreciate the dedication of all my tutors in ensuring that each lesson we get as much done as possible. On top of this, I’m really grateful to them for offering consideration when school exam blocks roll around and balancing work becomes difficult. Matrix has provided me with a quality learning experience, shared with school peers and opportunities to branch out that make this all the more fun.

Matrix Education has supplied me with the best learning experiences with a productive learning environment, as well as inspiring teachers who always encourage students to give their best. It also gave me confidence in my subjects because I learned the curriculum content in advance in school. The teachers engage the class well and answer any questions thoroughly.

Matrix really helps boost confidence and prepare you well for your exams at school. The Teachers are very inspirational and knowledgeable in what they do, and teaches essential concepts very well that is sometimes not covered as in depth at school. The workbook questions are very well picked and Varys in difficulties which proves to be one of the best practices you can find in perpetration towards your HSC.

My child was never interested to take Science tuition lessons even though she was struggling at school. After one semester in 2022 Year 10 Science tuition at Matrix, I noticed she began to take interest and excelled. She was awarded The Kathleen Wall Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Science" and "The UNSW School of Chemistry Prize for Excellence & Enthusiasm in Chemistry 2022".Highly recommend Matrix Education at anytime !"

Matrix has very knowledgeable and interesting teachers that explain the content clearly and in great depth, with quality learning material to accompany. They teach many courses ranging from math and english to all three sciences. Overall, Matrix has greatly improved my understanding of the courses I take at school.

I love matrix so much. 100% it has made my grades better and it makes me feel accelerated in school. The teachers are awesome too, I’ve been going to matrix since year seven so I’ve had many different teachers. They real homies and I always feel comfortable to ask them questions. Shout out to the service team too because they are so lovely.

Matrix Education has greatly helped me improve my understanding of chemistry and biology concepts especially. I used to be below average in science at school, but after just one year at Matrix enrolled in Year 10 science, I was able to come first in the grade in science. While the work can be content-rich at Matrix, it is highly beneficial to learn the topics ahead of school so that you can get ahead of the rest of your class and also get a good foundation for when your teacher goes over it at school later. I found this especially helpful when Matrix covered important concepts my school teachers did not cover or did not cover well and were in my school exams. While most of my friends were confused about some concepts that were not well taught at school, I was able to help them because I had already learnt the topics at Matrix. The teachers here are also super knowledgeable and approachable, and ready to answer any questions you have about the content you may be learning at school or at Matrix. The service team is also very efficient in helping with enrolment or any technical issues that arise.

I started going to Matrix in term 3 of Year 7 in the year 2019, starting with the Matrix maths course. Since then I have started attending the science and the English course as well and I am currently in Year 10. I have attended the physical lessons as well as the online video lessons during the pandemic but not the online live stream lessons. Therefore, my review of Matrix will be based on my experiences in these two lesson formats.What I appreciate about Matrix is that it offers a fantastic focused environment for highly productive learning, in contrast to the lackluster learning environment I sometimes get in school. The classrooms have the chairs arranged in a U shape around the teacher and the projector, allowing everyone to get a clear view of the board. However, it is worth noting that the individuals sitting around the edges will not have a very good angle, therefore my friends and I often arrive earlier to secure the middle seats which are directly facing the board. The number of students in the classrooms are rather low, ranging from 10 to 15, which allows the students to ask a lot more questions and the teacher to respond better. However, sometimes when the class is over there would be a bit of traffic exiting the classroom due to how close the seats and tables are arranged to the wall (especially in room 6). This is only a minor inconvenience but if there is more space behind the desks it would offer a better experience.The Matrix course books are of high quality, with each term's course books being one term ahead of the school's course. However, I find that sometimes the content covered in the Matrix course may be different than the content learned in school the following term. Generally this is not the case but it does happen on some occasions. Since when I started coming here over two years ago, the course books have changed and updated, which I think is great as it shows that it is constantly being edited to be up to date. The online video courses are decent, but I find that a lot of times the audio would be too quiet and I would have to turn the speakers on my laptop up to max. Also, I find that the online video lessons can be excruciatingly boring due to the lack of physical interaction, especially Science.Overall I think Matrix is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to get ahead or generally do well in school work. However you are going to have to put in the work and effort in order to get results. If you do not utilise the services and resources well you will not get the results you want. I have seen people in my previous classes put in low effort and in return received low results. Matrix Education has very high quality maths teachers. Jonathan was my favourite teach at this Campus.

My son had a very positive experience with his Maths classes. The teacher is knowledgeable and caring which has helped son not only to be more confident with the subject but also to secure good marks at his school.
