MLC School Aquatic Centre

The swim school has very good H&S policy that I feel safe to send my kids to swimming pool. The teachers have well structured lessons and helped my kids to pick up their skills easily. They have number of grades and classes to suit different kids in their skill levels. I would recommend this swim school any time.

Good facilities and patient teacher is nice to kids.Updated review: I am sorry to provide updated negative review after being there for a while. First of all, my daughter cannot stand the heated pool" of only 22 degrees as it is still cold for her (I feel cold too). As a result

Literally no improvement for my daughter for nearly a year. And if you complain they do not even care.

It’s probably not a suitable place for a child who learns at his/her own pace. Every child is different and this is where I have witnessed them failing utterly. The staff/ instructors simply does not bother about child’s genuine need. There unwillingness to be flexible in responding to child’s abilities and varying pace of skill development stalls the skill growth and leads to demotivation.Mlc please understand you are school and not a theme park.

Very good facilities and services

The administration and service are poorly run and seem to be more interested in taking money rather than providing a quality service. The swim coaches try hard but hampered by poor management.

Very clean neat and hygenic and professionally managed place

My daughter has started her swimming lesson by the last Sunday but she refused going into the water by walking around the pool for 20mins. Today, we had a try again. This time, I directly passed her to one of the coaches. I have to thank her so much with her kindness, patience and professionalism. Even thought my daughter was crying crazily at the beginning and looked for me around. The coach was so patient to keep talking to her and holding her in the water. My daughter gradually calm down and enjoying floating on the water mat. She has been successfully enjoyed her real first swimming lesson. I would strongly recommend the learn to swim program of MLC Aquatic Centre to friends and families.

My daughter has been going to swimming lessons here for 6 years (since the age of 3) and progressed through the levels. Even though she started swimming lessons elsewhere at 6 months old, she really learnt to swim at MLC and picked up the skills quickly. She has loved every one of her teachers. My only criticism is the changing rooms and toilets are always in need of attention - dripping taps, broken taps, no hot water, toilets no flushing, no toilet paper etc etc.

I’ve tried many swim schools, this is by far the best. Professional, lovely staff and the progress is visible to all. My daughter loves going each week and each instructor we have had has been lovely. Very clean also and good parking facilities. Highly recommend.
