Shady camp is a awesome place to fish, April is a good time to try your luck for barra. The road in is alright sometimes it can get a bit corrugated.

We had a fantastic time fishing and nature watching. The boat ramp is good, but don't miss the tides for retrieval. Happy to have caught a great barra. Feed 8 people.Ps. Keep an eye out for the crocs :)

I appreciated the entertainment supplied by 5 men standing in knee deep water to fish in the most croc. infested part of Australia.The Jabiru and pelican standing patiently some 5 meters behind them was even more entertaining!Spot the dummies.

Lots of mosquitoes, but other than that, nice camp. Road in was pretty rough too, but doable in a 2wd.
