Tran's Automatic & All Mechanical Repairs

I'm seeing so many positive reviews on this business, however I can not agree. I put my WM Caprice in for a transmission rebuild in February 2021. I was called to collect it a month later, had it for a day and returned it on a tow truck. This happened again a few weeks later. Eventually, after three months in total, I went and got my car back, and it still has the same problem! I would not recommend this business to anyone w.ho wants any work done to a transmission..... EDIT...... it has now been 12 months and 6 return visits and my transmission is worse than ever. I've given up because I simply can't be without the car for such long periods of time! I will just have to save up another 7K and get someone else to do the job.

I don't recommend this business at all after what I went thru most expensive headache I have ever experience in my life which destroyed my bank account over 24k worth of damages and just story after story it's sad as its made me lose big trust in car businesses who hurt hard working people who have to pick up their mess

Excellent service, was greeted in carpark by one of the mechanics who took my car straight in to work on. Quick and efficient the work was done in no time. Reasonable price and great service. Will be back to see Tony Tran and the boys in the future. Would recommend Tran's Auto repair to anyone. Very happy customer.

I've dealt with Tony on a couple of times and my experience has always been great. It's been raining today so I wanted to get my wiper changed. Couldn't do it myself, asked Tony if he could do it? And within about 2 minutes flat it was done!!!FREE OF CHARGE!THE MAN!GOD BLESS YOU TONY

Tony from the get go was extremely helpful. I needed my VE SV6 Holden's gearbox rebuilt. The price was the best. He also explained what was needed and what could be done to extend the life of the gearbox. 12 mths warranty. Communication was on point. I would definitely recommend Trans Auto to anyone who needs quality for a reasonable price. Turn around was a week and a bit. Thanks Tony

Tony knew his stuff.My shift link cable disconnected, and instead of waiting 3 months to get it from China.And Nissan wanted to sell the whole cable only, Tony knew the part, and for a 1/4 of the price, had it all sorted. What a legend.Highly recommend this friendly transmission wizard.

Sloppy work and corner cutting. A timing belt change left me with an engine oil leak from the rocker cover (did not replace gasket and left a bolt loose) and misaligned and illfitted radiator hose that was not refitted properly after being removed for access.

Please avoid, my gearbox needed servicing so was charged $400. I was told by nearly everyone i know that i was rip right off and my transmission continued to run terrible. So I took the car to kiwi french, slacks creek qld who informed me my oil was never changed, and that service plus my engine service from kiwi french came to $388. This business will take your money if you seem to be a vulnerable customer
