Yes! We've finally found another one of only few really delicious restaurants in the forster/taree areas. Fresh food, delicious well balanced flavors good service and a great location. As vegetarians we're short of great quality options around here, this one is a winner, definitely check them out!

Larb salmon and Moo ping was good. Crispy pork with vegetables was disappointing as way too salty. Couldn't really eat it without getting rid of the sauce. Prices surprisingly expensive compared to Sydney considering their rent is probably less and they have high school kids waiting on tables. Even really good Thai restaurants in Sydney Thai Town are cheaper. Not much competition in Old Bar so I guess they can do okay.

Order a few dishes take away. The pad Thai was bland and very small. The cashew nut meal was very dry and tasteless. The masaman beef tasted nice however the beef was also very dry. The rice was 'gluggy'. Quite over priced for what we received and won't be going back.

The food here is brilliant - heaps of flavour, above average size serves, fresh, hot. No corkage for BYO and rice is complimentary which is an excellent touch - not possible in Sydney. Staff are friendly and prompt and food took about seven minutes to arrive. Absolutely recommend this place and will be back. Three mains and rice for three was $79 which I thought was a deal!

Great foodNot typical Thai food but more a fusion of Thai, Vietnamese with a NZ and Aussie take. Really great.And go grab a bottle of your fav from across the road from bottello as BYO.

If you told me this was $84 worth of food, I would of laughed In your face! But no, the pictures below is what we ordered last night and we were quite disappointed. The pad Thai was lacking flavor, the roti bread was disgusting and the Penang curry had 3 pieces of beef in it. It’s so over priced for what it is. I’m glad there was only 2 of us to feed!

I was charged $25 for this pathetic small portion Pad Thai takeaway. The taste was mediocre and it took them 30 minutes to come out with this. Will never be back
