Cornerstone Boulder Walls

In 2007, Cornerstone Boulder Walls built the retaining walls to secure the house pad prior to the construction of our home. This involved 3 major 2m high walls - two 40m long and one 60m long.It was amazing to watch Glen work as he assembled a 3D jigsaw puzzle. He has an incredible ability to look at a pile of rocks, select the right stone, spin it around and put it in place perfectly matching what was needed next.In the 14 years since, there has been no movement or change in the walls and it has been a very attractive and stable platform for our house. True craftsmen are hard to come by, but Glen is one of them. We got him back to do some cut sandstone steps in 2018 and they are fantastic also!

This review is long overdue but 11 years ago Glen and his team built a (small for them), 2m high x about 30m long boundary line retaining wall and 3 smaller retaining walls and I could not be happier with their workmanship. The “exacting fit” of every boulder is frankly impressive!Everything looks as “precise and perfect” today as they did when they were first built.

Glen did a terrific job excavating our front driveway and building a sandstone rock wall and sandstone stairs to our front door. He is a master of the excavator, nudging each stone in right place to make the perfect rock wall. He is professional, was able to guide us through the build process and respond to our queries quickly. Highly recommend Glen if you need some excavation/ rock wall work done at your place.
