Thredbo Alpine Museum
A wonderful gem to visit in Thredbo. This is completely volunteer run and the lady looking after the place this weekend was super friendly and knowledgeable about the mountains. She went out of her way to answer my question and found me plenty of resources to look through. I thought I knew a bit about the mountains but I realise I hadn't ever heard about the 'worlds longest chairlift'! Highly recommend this place, check opening times on the website.

Thredbo Alpine Museum
The Thredbo Alpine Museum has free entry and is a must see if you are in Thredbo. Interesting history of the town and the early days of skiing in Australia. Only small but lots to see.

Thredbo Alpine Museum
Came in with no expectation, went out delighted ! The lady at the entrance was deeply informative and kind, thank you for all the insights and stories about Thredbo's mountainous history. We were amazed to see actual Olympic medals in display there, 2 of them on less !Certainly worth a 15 mins agreeable visit in Thredbo :)
