Never responded to a contact request months later, have since sorted.I used Neat Gearboxes!

Sent a contact request from their online form to request advice as to which rebuild kit to purchase from them for my local differential mechanic to do an mfactory lsd conversion.First response was basically that they only do them in-house and he proceeded to give me instructions to purchase a bunnings pressure washer and to clean it, and dhl ship it to him so he could do the job.Email conversion are as following:Me:So are you telling me that you will not provide advice as to which product to purchase for you to have it done by another workshop? It would be cheaper to buy a diff from you brand new than to courier one back and forth plus your installation fee.Him:Hi Akoutzamanis,I am equipped to perform work here, and I don't necessarily provide training, support, equipment and parts for other wrokshops beyond what is on the web site.​The parts, equipment and instructions needed to do this job are not listed on the web site. This is an in-house job only. Yes some rebuild parts can be purchased for a limited range of differentials, but the majhority of my parts are not, and they are used here by me, for my own assemblies only. Many of these parts are bespoke, designed and manufactured by me, for my customers.Me:It's really a simple question between two products that you list for sale on your websiteI am not asking for training just some product advice between the two items you have advertised for sale on your websiteYour refusal to assist is essentially preventing you from making a sale and profitI will not be sending my 40kg differential to you to do the job. I contacted mfactory directly and the job is extremely easy and parts can be reused. Please stay away.--For anyone wondering which kit they need for a 3.46 diff rebuild, LuK kit with part number 462 0216 10 is what you're looking for.Don't deal with this guy.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Does not reply to emails nor answer any calls. I've been waiting patiently for over a month for my refund (items have been given back) and I've sent multiple emails trying to get a response from him.

Might know what he is doing but worst person i have dealt with in business in 50 years. Find an alternative ! Just not worth it.

Anyone who complains about the speed of service, Yes Mike runs the business by himself, put yourself in his shoes trying to get work done, answer the phone, reply to emails. It clearly states this on this website.... Mike replied fairly quickly to my initial inquiry but my reply went 5 days or so unanswered and I'll admit I was impatient too. What I did? Put my money where my mouth is, and ordered a Diff. Once my order was picked up by Mike, he called me, went over all the specifics in very fine detail, explained the entire process, and spoke about what is needed for my vehicle to perform the best it can and the adjustments beyond the standard factory settings he would be making. Once this was confirmed and we updated the invoice, I was able to pay and collect the diff in just a couple of days. The diff bolted straight in, no noise, no hassle, it was perfect. Also once my order was in, I got a direct email and phone number that I was able to reach him on where I received higher priority response. Anyway, I cleaned and returned the core following the instructions outlined on the website and Mike returned my deposit immediately. Highly recommended! My OS Giken SuperLock is Fantastic!
