Creature Yoga

This is a great studio (industrial estate). Nice atmosphere and really good teachers. Always have good classes here. The teachers are very thorough and know their stuff + they also have good courses pop up so keep an eye out on their website.

It's a good casual studio for travellers. You can buy a one week pass which is great value. The only issue is that in the afternoon classes you can hear rock music from the Roadhouse across the street.

The best place on planet earth!I have travelled to four different continents to practice yoga with different teachers and at Creature I found the best teachers in the world, the best studio space and honestly - I found a home.I love this studio and the people so much :)

Be careful buying a long term pass of their unadvertised terms & conditions. I don’t like to write a negative review, but feel others have a right to know so they don’t end up wasting their money like I did. Despite not advertising any expiry date or terms and conditions when selling their passes (a basic fundamental of fair trading), Creature will impose time limits on these, so make sure you get it in writing if you might not be able to use the pass in it’s entirety straight away. After a massive couple of years including becoming a Mum with no family support due to COVID restrictions, time didn’t allow for me to go to a yoga class. When I enquired about activating my 6 month pass (after it was paused), Tahl decided they wouldn’t honour the remaining months on the pass, as it had been “too long”. In fairness, it had just passed fair tradings mandatory minimum expiry period of three years for vouchers. But I was pretty surprised and disappointed given a) they don’t advertise any expiry period b) it had only just passed the bare minimum for what’s considered a legally fair minimum by a couple of weeks and c) the lack of consideration for the fact that at least some of time accounted for the passes expiring was during a global pandemic (including lock downs when they were closed). For total transparency, the compromise offered to me was a week pass to get me back started - but the whole experience was such a turn off, I’d rather support another local business and won’t be returning to Creature. It’s fine if these are their policies but at least be honest and transparent upfront about them so consumers can make informed decisions.EDIT: Reply speaks for itself that they have limits on pass holds and this includes maximum hold length & pass expiries but neither of these are clear on the website. It’s just untrue three holds were requested, as acknowledged by Tahl in our emails there was only 2 holds (which pass was sold with at time of purchase, policy has since changed). Offered to remove review of Creature made their terms and conditions clear on the website, which they ignored.

Came on vacation to do a class with Kirsten and her morning chill flow class is the perfect way to start the day :) the studio is also very calming, they have mat rentals and plenty of props for practice.

Great yoga class! I really enjoyed all the instructors I saw during my week traveler's pass. Some classes were more challenging, while others were more restorative and meditative. The studio was beautiful, the instructors were friendly, and I felt great afterward. Thank you!

This yoga experience was of a really high standard. My instructor Beth was super friendly, made me feel comfortable even though I wasnt amazing. Intense but enjoyable.

Wow what an amazing place! I've visited many yoga studios in the world and this is definitely one of the best I've been to, thank you for an excellent and accurate professional challenging class, recommended for anyone looking to practice in the Byron area!

Amazing studio that focuses just on yoga! I find that many other studios these days include massage, Pilates, etc which takes away from the real yoga experience.

Best studio in town, Creature yoga has excellent and experienced teachers! I’ve been practicing with Tahl and Bess for three years and I love it everyday. Excellent teacher training too, and workshops with internationally renowned yogis.
