Available on a Public Access Route (PAR), this old homestead is worth a visit. Ute-based 4WD required due to clearance issues that would bog/damage a car-based ute/SUV at certain points. We ran in 2WH the entire time, two weeks after a major rain event in the area.Excellent views and open plain, you can understand why the original builders tried to make this place work. The ruins encourage you to remember how it was, up to and including the slate floors in the living areas. The central support poles of the barn/sheep shed are still standing, suprisingly, pictures not supplied.Beautiful place to soak up some history. Spur tracks available from here for hiking. As it's on a PAR I can't personally recommend for camping, YMMV.

Tough life out there in those days. Starting to fall down. However, you can still see the workmanship in its design. I hope I attached the right pic. Been taking lots.

Great place to visit, as the other review suggests, definitely couldn't get there in a lower car as there a few spots that need clearance. The views are amazing and I'd go back
