Communication heading into my repairs was pretty good, we had 2 calls to confirm the work that I was having done as well as a conversation when I dropped off my car that we were repairing 3 things that day and the day should be enough time to complete... I called late in the afternoon to check on progress I was told that my car was only their to be looked at so they could order parts (although I'd been informed days earlier that the parts were ordered, this was a lost day caused us to need to reschedule my booking a week earlier). After the inconvenience of not having a car for the day staff blamed communication between them & the mechanics, they seemed apologetic so I booked the repairs the following week. When second booking this came around I dropped my car off nice and early, I triple checked the work could be done within a day, I travel for work so needed to know I could make my Monday schedule, mid-afternoon I was asked if it was ok for me to have a loan car for the weekend as they couldn’t finish the repairs today (inconvenienced but I went with it and cooperated). When I arrived to collect a loan car I noticed that my car was on the street exactly where I left it this morning. Not even started as I was led to believe it had been. Reception pretended they didn’t know that it hadn’t been started and I wasn’t even offered an excuse as to why, this is disgraceful and no matter how much I tried to accept this terrible service and make excuses it is not ok! Two complete days without a car, both times to be let down and only to find out when I arrive or after following up that the reason my car was there wasn't started. I'm not talking a little service I'm talking $2-3K of work. I wanted to support a small local business, I excused the multiple mistakes/communication breakdowns" but all I received in return was disappointment and very inconvenienced! Don't lie

Do not go here!! Unless you wanna be ripped off and have your car more damaged then when you took it in, careful of the reviews aswell , the people who work there write them lolALSO LOVING ALL THE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS GIVEN BY PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE AND WHO YOU KNOW HAVE A LOOK EVERYONE JUST SCROLL DOWN! THE REST ARE 1 STAR, WHAT A JOKE

We have used Tigertune P/L for many years without complaint until this recent event ... My wife's vehicle (2007 Astra Twin Top) went in for the repair of a Timing Cover Oil Leak, it was recommended by Tigertune P/L that the timing chain be replaced which was agreed to, the work was done promptly, the car was picked up and the repairs were paid for in full ($1500). Immediately the vehicle produced an error message and the car was returned to Tigertune P/L who said that they would fix it at their expense, 4 to 5 weeks after returning the vehicle to Tigertune P/L we were informed that unfortunately the wrong part had been supplied by Repco (or an affiliate supplier) and fitted (by Tigertune P/L) resulting in damage to the engine.. (in their defence Tigertune P/L did supply a loan car for us to use which they requested be returned to them one day before telling us our car's engine was damaged), due to the lengthy time frame (and a gut feeling) we had decided to purchase another vehicle for my wife at a cost of $11,000 just prior to finding out the car's engine had been damaged. We hope this matter can be resolved but fear that we will be out of pocket to the tune of $18,000 (original car cost of $5500, Repair cost of $1500, replacement car cost of $11,000).. We probably won't use Tigertune P/L again after this experience.

would highly recommend tigertune to anyone and everyone, dale was so incredibly helpful and is a true hero with the biggest heart of all an a absolute ledgend, when some incredibly low person slashed 12 tyres on our cars, he was so quick to land a hand and get all 3 cars booked in on such short noticed that included a tow truck to pick them up. Not to mention he gave us a really good deal in our time of need and hardship, also he went above and beyond to do safety checks on all the cars free of charge, and i couldn't thank dale and his team enough!! they are very professional,family friendly and very knowledgeable at what they do and always keep in touch especially when you are asking for a price, definitely will be going back in the near future!! i can't say enough how much I would highly recommend them!!*pic bellow of my pride and joy going off to Tigertune

Amazing communication and service!! Macy was so easy to deal with and communicated with me every step!! Also got my car in for a major service so quickly and had it back to me in one day!! Highly recommend these guys

Got my car towed here the other week due to oil pressure issues. RACV guy recommended them (reckon he get a kickback from this as they seem to always have space to take in towed cars). Owner Sounded really professional at the start and very good so I trusted the process even the the communication was horrible from the front desk lady (Macy). I then started hearing stories about tiger tune, first was a clients family member, they told me how they had taken their 4WD there and there was always a new problem showing up with the car until the invoice came up to a few thousand despite this not being communicated. The next morning I called up at 8am and spoke to Macy and told her to tell the owner to not touch my car until I had spoken to him as I was going to cross check what he told me with my usual mechanic. Didn’t receive a call and decided to call them at 12:40 to which I spoke with the owner, I told him I was unsure and he was going to get the co owner Erin to talk with me further. My mechanic instantly said what he was saying didn’t make sense so when Erin texted me I told her I would get the car towed elsewhere and that I’ll pay the quoted amount (have it in writing on text). She then said the amount owing now was just over $1000. I said I refused to pay as I had been clear that anymore costs I had to approve before they did it. She then lied and said I had given them permission to do more labour that morning! Which was a complete lie and i had told macy the opposite. Then the amount owing magically went down to roughy $800 and I was told I had to pay in full otherwise I couldn’t collect my car and would be charged storage fees on top of that. I begged her and explained I was a disability support worker and the longer she held out my car the longer I couldn’t take clients to very crucial doctor appointments etc. when I was calling tow truck drivers to get my car towed they all instantly knew it was tiger tune when I said I was having issues with a mechanic in langwarrin (so I’m clearly not the only one). Another client of mine then had a similar story as well and told me after I mentioned it as tiger tune and top of that my normal mechanic instantly told me to get my car out of there when he found out it was tiger tune as he knew the owner (think his name is Dale or something) was constantly in debt and this was his way of making an extra buck. Now that I’ve gotten my car back as well there’s a huge scratch on the right side of my car as well. Probably their big F U to me for taking my business elsewhere. Don’t be fooled by some of the fake reviews left on their fb and google which happened to me, chat to a few other mechanics about tiger tune and you’ll hear similar stories.

After seeing so many people recommend Tigertune on a locals facebook page, I booked my car in for a 120,000km service there , so glad I did! Communication was amazing from start to finish (shoutout to Macy for her prompt, professional and clear messages and responses)I was communicated with regarding an additional part needed, provided the cost and given the option to go ahead with it or not during the service.Upon pickup, the whole service was thoroughly explained to me and asked if I needed help with anything further or if I understood it all.The first mechanic I’ve ever been to that made suggestions for the near future or next service rather than try to cram them all in same day and leave me with a huge bill.Will definitely be back for my next service.
