I visited a few years ago with a WEA day tour. The place was nice, there was nothing nearby. The hostess was lovely and our group had Devonshire tea there.It was originally built by Charles Royal and expanded by him as his family grew. Leith Royal inherited the property when his father, Charles died in 1947. Trevor, son of Leith, inherited the property and sold it in the 1970'sI notice now that Glenroy Cottage (on the property) is now an Air BnB, but there are no other contact details.
