IGA Woodend

Today went to get refund for pre package food sold that was substanard. Brad management refused $9 refund saying it's the product company to compensate me.Brad talked about the good faith but I got NONe won't shop there again

This was a great place to shop in the beginning, but sadly it's just gone downhill. They had a lot of nice staff at the beginning but they all seem to have left. That being said though, the staff they do have left all look like they are trying to keep the good vibe of the store going. I have heard the owners and management speaking horribly and unprofessionally (swearing and name calling etc.) to the staff many times, which is not nice to have happen whilst I'm looking for groceries. The only thing going for it now is the nice variety of foods that Coles don't have. I do feel sorry for the staff when I pay for my food at the registers, they seem so friendly but scared of the owners. Would only recommend if you're in a pinch and Coles doesn't have the item you want.(edit) The closing times also need to be updated to reflect the current closing times.

Overheard the owner screaming at a young girl, what a horribly unprofessional environment. Will definitely never be returning.

Well priced broad product range for a relatively small Supermarket far superior to when Coles were in the same building

Prices are ridiculous especially around Christmas time. I have also heard management speaking badly to staff and seen them yelling at staff! Very unprofessional, Various people have been saying that woodend IGA staff have been underpaid and hours cut. Definitely will not be coming back Coles is better for me

Higher prices than Coles Woodend, much less range than Coles Woodend. Aisles are so narrow you have to breathe in if a trolley is coming towards you. The sushi is barely acceptable but very expensive. I'll be sticking with Coles.

I would prefer noone knew but this is the new best supermarket in Woodend. Quiet - that won't last. Easy parking, great range, lovely staff. Delicious sushi is lunch.

A great disappointment. Finally some competition for Coles in Woodend but it's not competition at all - very poor selection. Should take a good look at Foodworks in Gisborne for how to compete with Coles by having quality produce and a wide variety
