FUS Tasmania

Very disappointed with FUS. Got measurements wrong, installation dates wrong and left with no kitchen. No apology or acceptance of their faults. Will never use them again, nor recommend to any clients.

Absolutely disgusted in how they treat their customers!!!! Left a young family with no kitchen for 3 weeks. Lie after lie after lie! Way over schedule and end result was NOT what was promised.

Our kitchen and house renovation started in July 2016 and wasn't completed until 22nd December 2016. Along the way were subjected to countless delays and questionable workmanship whilst spending a lot of money. We constantly had to call to get things rectified and if we didn't ring nothing happened. Tradesmen were off with one ailment or another, or came and did half an hours work then nothing for weeks. Then as it came to the end, one of tradesman broke one of the floor tiles, there seemed to be no concern. Luckily we had one left but it has been placed so it's not perfectly flush. Also i had to do a lot of finishing off and cleaning up, especially the patio which was covered in some sort of tile glue.BUT, then mid way through 2017, we noticed the laminate on top of the drawers and cupboards was splitting. We contacted them in October and as it is under warranty were told it would be fixed. Got to December and were told by the girl in the office that they were ready and someone would come at the end of the week. No one showed as per usual. On ringing was told they weren't our cupboards and that nothing would happen until after Christmas. After repeated e-mails in January this year, after giving them an ultimatum, our claim is now with Consumer affairs. All the time it was us who had to contact them,never did they ring to let us know the situation. Some days we played guess what's been done today, usually nothing.

New owners are really friendly and helpful. Answered my questions and helped me out.

So I have to make this post public as this 'business' is still operating with a slight name change.I was awarded over $28,000 damages in the Magistrates Court of Tasmania against FUS Kitchens - of which I won't see cent.The director went bankrupt and the foreman created a new ABN to keep trading.They're still currently in the same location, same phone number and same core staff (I've called them to check).From exceptionally poor workmanship to threatening to sue customers for slander just for being honest when talking about what they've done.Beware if you're considering them for your renovations!

not sure what the bad reviews are about, we have used them for 2 of our kitchens and both time they were great to deal with, nice staff and great looking kitchen, did run over schedule by about a week but reno's always do.
