Cambridge Motel (Formerly known as Berkeley Lodge Motor Inn) 4-Star Motel

Highly recommend this motel. It is very spacious, clean and quiet. The showers are endless, and delightfuly hot. The reverse cycle split system air con keeps you toasty. It is a easy walk to the Cafes and bakery. The spa is on the next block. At $140 per night, couple, it is the best value for money we have experienced in a long time.

I was recently in town for a reunion and stayed with my family members at at Berkeley which I found to be comfortable and clean. The staff are great and are very accommodating. We had family come in late from the airport and it was close to the bistro closing time. The Berkeley were kind enough to allow us to order and hold meals for them to make sure everyone ate after such a big day. Great steak and service in the Bar and Bistro. The rooms were kept well and very comfortable. Thank you! We will be back to see you soon.

Our stay in Mitchell was fantastic!!My family and I hoped to camp on the river when arriving at Mitchell though the weather turned it on and we decided to find accommodation.When arriving the staff was more than helpful to accommodate my family with smiling faces helping with children and making us feel welcome, the room was warm inviting and the most comfortable beds which gave this mother of 4 a wonderful nights sleep (thank you!!) I recommend this beautiful accommodation to everyone!!!Thanks for having us...

Had a nice room clean ,quiet would stay again if I’m travelling that way , hostess is a lovely person , the motel is in remodeling stage but all requirements where meet nice Little town ! Thankyou for a comfortable nights rest

We found the rooms clean, one of the best beds I have slept on, a decent tv with web. On our trip we stayed at Birdsville at twice the price, along with the Longreach motor inn again higher in price. The rooms were the same size. we enjoyed our stay in Mitchell QLD. It caught us off guard as we had high hopes of Longreach and Birdsville but we’re disappointed.The restaurant is not open yet but they are working on it. The excellent Mitchell cafe is virtually next door, and sells great food.When they talk about the outback needing tourists, it not places like Longreach or Birdsville. You will find the service and value for money a lot better in a small country town.

Excellent stay, room refurbished to a high standard. New beds and every convenience catered for. Management and staff very friendly.

Great service it's our second time here. Very happy with the service and clean rooms carnt wait for the restaurant to open. We will be back highly recommend
