The Cave Wood Fired Pizza
We recently stayed in Jan Juc and on the recommendation of our Airbnb host checked this place out. It was heaving when we arrived but we still managed a table at the bar seating in the window. The staff were amazing and gracious in the mayhem, and the pizza was DELICIOUS! It was so good we considered just going back there again for our second night.

The Cave is our regular weekly pizza place. They have the best gluten free bases I've ever had. Hubby and I share a T-Rex, and their kids' cheese pizza and the dessert pizza are also fabulous. Highly recommend!

I wanted to write a balanced review for this place as I felt the five star and one star split are not helpful. We Ordered take out, from a great selection of pizzas. The site said an hour for pick up, we arrived 10 minutes early but it was already out and a bit cool (Saturday night understandable times hard to manage). The flavours were good capricossa and veg, garlic bread, the base was really tasty. What’s stopping this being 5 stars is it was a little dry. I note the one star reviews are completely unfair to the clearly friendly hard working staff but their point about it maybe needing more sauce are valid and easy fix to otherwise high quality pizza. I do recommend this place as despite two minor criticisms it was a very enjoyable dinner. The capricossa was our favourite, highly recommend, simple and delicious. I honestly think small tweaks and it will genuinely be a 5star place.
