Wategos Beach
One of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. Mind you, the recent history of shark activity made me a nervous swimmer and surfer.

Wategos Beach
Wategos Beach, Byron Bay, NSWWe were keen to go back to Byron Bay after our last holiday there, so on our way from Sheraton Mirage to Port Macquarie we spent a few hours surfing at Wategos Beach. Great location for a swim or walk along the beach at low tide. It’s a busy location usually so parking can be difficult. Raes on Wategos is also right there by the beach.#WategosBeach#ByronBay

Wategos Beach
It’s an awesome beach for surfers and a nice restaurant nearby. You can walk from the pass to Wategos beach through the Byron Bay History Trail.

I love the place. Only problem is parking, hard to get a spot, expensive and limited time. If you want to go there walk from town by the sea side trail, don't go by car.

Simply stunning Byron Bay beach! Honestly just felt like one of the most instagram-able places on the planet!Perfect spot to stop for the day and just have a fabulous swim, relax and recovery session. There is a couple of BBQ facilities and cafes near by, as well as a public toilet.Strong recommend from me!!!

A nice beach .nothing special I wouldn’t waste my money on the parking meters to spend time atThis beach’ it does have white sand and blue water and a nice walk out to a rock point

Absolutely loved this beach. Definitely a must visit if in Byron bay. I could’ve came here everyday!
