Home - Mackay Aquatic Recreation Complex | Our facility includesa FINA approved 50m pool, a covered 25m pool, as well as a heated 15m programs pool. We are also home to a brand new athletics track offering all events and dicapines. We offer you a range of incredible programs, including our Learn to Swim swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, and Masters swimming.

Not enough hours available in hydro pool for people with injuries doing rehab. Mums with bubs seem to get priority. Told available all afternoon today, only got 20 mins before asked to get out for kids party. Not fair, not happy.

I was taken here with my besty whilst visiting in Slade Point and frequnces this aqautic centre 2 to 3 times a week. Beautifully maintained and Clean.....5stars

This place is amazing for all ages. Very clean and well maintained facility. Best chicken nuggets, chips and gravy in town!! Perfect family day out.

It's great they have two pools a 25m and 50m pool. The Bad thing Is I came Thursday night after work to get a quick half hour swim and when I came they only had 3 lanes open on the 50m and people playing water sports taking up almost all of the remaining lanes, it would be alot better to have them in the 25m pool if this is every Thursday and leave the 50m for people training. I'm only new to this place.Just a suggestion.

Nice place North Mackay, very convenient et close to my place (Beaconsfield Road). Nice and tidy, it will deserve a little bit more shady place. Anyway, it affordable and you can get special price if you pay Infront 10 entries. I recommend.

The 25 metre pool is not heated. I have spoken to countless swim instructors and users and have been told there are problems with the heating. This includes the life guards. I was assured that the water going in was 30 degrees and coming out at 29 degrees. Rubbish! Put your hand in the 50 metre pool and feel the difference. Please change your website to reflect the truth
